Fishy Business

Largest selection I've seen in a while (I'm not from this area, so I'm meaning compared to Georgia) very neat rooms where you can build your own rock or decoration! Highly recommend coming by if you are in the area!

These guys are absolutely amazing. The knowledge they have regarding both fresh and saltwater livestock is impeccable. Everyone is always friendly and willing to help. The images below are tanks we have started since joining the Fishy Business family.

If you need fish, shop here! Although the store can be a bit more pricey than other chain retailers nearby (by a couple dollars), you get infinitely healthier, well adjusted plants and animals. This store can help your dreams come true within your skillset and budget, while offering advice about what fish will work best for that. In my current living situation I have a thriving tank (5.5 gal No CO2 No heater) that feels like its own little safe haven, and Fishy business has tools above and beyond for my needs, and the staff will give you honest feedback so that your tank lives a happy, long life. I cannot rave about this place enough! Please give it a visit!

Overall, a really awesome store. Everyone who works there that I have spoken too have been very knowledgeable and polite. The tank and plants we purchased are doing really well. Minimal melting and most are thriving. They even told me not to buy a certain plant because it was going to perform badly due to excessive heat it experienced when they lost power due to Hurricane Helene. The fish I bought are doing well and I haven't lost any of them. I did note that one or two of the Harlequin Rasboras have some type of deformity, possibly scoliosis, but they appear to be enjoying life and are active. I also found bladder snails in my tank (everything from tank and additions have been from the store) but after doing some research, we decided to keep them despite their reputation of being pest snails. The staff encouraged certain fish and let me know that other fish that I considered getting wouldn't be a good idea for a beginning setup which I appreciate. I did a year of research before starting my tank so I have been happy to have extra guidance to keep me from making mistakes. My freshwater tank is thriving and I look forward to coming back to the store!

Very nice fish store with very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. They have all kinds of fish and as a hobbyist that has bred many fish for years, they keep the fish in healthy tanks and take good care of them. You will not get a healthier fish anywhere else. They have everything you could need or want for your aquariums. I would recommend this store to anybody serious about their aquariums and anybody looking to start one.
