We’ve been going to Moby Dicks for over 20 years, it is a great place to keep up on your aquatic hobby. They have anything from fresh, brackish, salt water to amphibians and supplies for birds, etc! Gary is always very friendly and helpful, this is our favorite spot. Here’s a couple pictures of the two plecos we found.

My sister recently visited Michigan and stopped by this place last week while exploring. She described the place as filthy; disgusting, dirty tanks with dead fish and animals in cramped, bad living conditions. The most disturbing sight was when she saw a dead rat with its face chewed off by the other rats. The rats had no food so they had to eat one of their own. No one was willing to help her and the girl working ignored her concerns about the rats and fish. Sad, disgusting place with poor animals being neglected.

Always been able to get what I need from this location. they have salt water fish of all kinds, fresh water, eels, brichers, I've seen an octopus or two. This store also sells some reptiles, rats/feeder mice, as well as axolotls. The live feeder fish/brine shrimp are always in good condition, I've never gotten any with caved in stomachs. I've also never had anything die on the way home. The staff are very helpful and do their best to answer what they can, and if one can't help, they usually ask someone else who can. this is the only store that I've seen that sells the frozen Bloodworms in a bulk bag.

Drove all the way from Hamtramck to find lots of dead floating fish in multiple tanks. Unfortunately I wouldn’t risk disrupting my flourishing aquariums at home with what they’ve got to offer. Better off going to Fish Dr in Ypsilanti, Pet Connection in Livonia or Oceans & Seas in Roseville for animals. Although this store did have decent range in accessories & new tanks, I withheld from purchasing after seeing the condition of their animals.

One of metro Detroits top stores. I have made a few freshwater fish purchases from them and all were healthy and thriving. They have a bit of everything as far as stock goes. From cichlids, rainbowfish, livebearers, tetras, cories or oddball. Great selection of dry goods as well and one ofthe only stores in metro Detroit that carries live black worms. This store is becoming my goto when looking for breeder stock, they always seem to have what I'm looking for.
