The employees are very knowledgeable about everything, the plants sold are completely snail free. I’ve built two tanks from this store with their plants. They take great care of their fish, and their bettas home is wayyy better than a petsmart or petco. I do wish their bettas could have a better set up but they have water flow in there, more room to swim. Their bettas look so much more happy and healthier compared to pet smart or petco. Their products like driftwood, heaters, even aquarium tools are pretty expensive. Other than that it’s the best aquatic store around. They truly care about all aquatic life!”

I finally stopped into Blue Thumb to make my decision, and I’m glad I did. I talked with a worker named Brandon, and he was awesome. Super helpful, not pushy or judgmental, and really knowledgeable about both setups. He took the time to walk me through the pros and cons and helped me figure out what would look best in my living room. After talking with him, I decided to go all in and picked up a Fluval 32 Flex for a saltwater setup. I came back the next day, and once again Brandon went above and beyond — he got me all the right supplies, explained what each one does, and gave me great tips for cycling the tank properly. My setup is running smoothly now, and I can’t wait to come back with my kids to pick out some hardy fish once it’s ready. Please make sure he gets the recognition he deserves — it’s rare to find someone that patient, genuine, and knowledgeable.
