I have been going here since I was just a kid. Family owned and run for 2 generations now, I believe. The family is such a great family and so kind and helpful. A few years back, I received a 55-gallon tank and wanted to set it up with Jack Dempsey Chichlid. They helped me with the whole process. They never once tried to over sell me on anything. If anything, they were showing me ways to cut costs. They have the cleanest and best feeder fish and a wide variety of pet tank fish to choose from. As well as birds and a few lizards and turtles. If they dont have what you need, they will find a way to get it for you. They are very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you, Royal tropical, for not trying to convert to moderate For keeping that original feel-good family store that I felt and remember as a kid when I first walked into your store and felt I had stepped into a magical land.

I got my sweet cockatiel here in January. So far, all has been well and he is a happy and healthy bird. The experience purchasing him was great and the associate was helpful and answered my many questions. However, i wish that they gave you the option of whether or not you wanted your birds wings clipped. I had no choice in the matter and now my baby has had several bad landings and has broken other feathers due to being clipped. I would never had done that to him. That aside, i am an advocate of shopping local and everything else involving my experience getting my bird here was good.

Great experience were planning to buy a bird staff is knowledgeable. They let us hold and encounter some of they're friendly birds it was awesome.
