Tucked inside an unassuming warehouse on Route 360 in Taunton, Massachusetts, Ken's Fish & Pet Supplies is the kind of place you drive right past before doubling back — there are no flashy signs, no storefront displays, just aisles upon aisles of aquarium supplies at prices that consistently undercut the big-box competition. This is a supply-only operation: no livestock, no live plants, just an enormous inventory of fish food, equipment, replacement parts, and dry goods that draws customers from across the Northeast and beyond. Ken's has built a loyal following largely through their house-brand fish food, which reviewers praise for clarity and quality.
Their flake foods get high marks, and they stock specialty feeds ranging from larvae-stage powders to large koi pellets and freeze-dried options that are genuinely hard to find elsewhere. One customer drove to Taunton specifically for a Fluval filter cover that nobody within a thousand miles carried online — and walked out with a bag full of extras. Another picked up a 90-gallon Seapora tank at a price that beat every competitor they checked.
The online store is where Ken's really flexes. Orders typically ship next day, often arriving within two to three days, and free shipping kicks in at $50. Customers from multiple states report receiving well-packed shipments with occasional free food samples included.
That said, some buyers have experienced frustrating gaps in email communication when issues arise with orders, and the return process has drawn complaints — something worth noting for out-of-state shoppers. In person, the warehouse atmosphere is part of the charm. Jim and Ken greet walk-in customers warmly and know their inventory inside and out.
Beyond aquarium supplies, there's a solid selection of reptile and bird products — Zilla hides, terrariums, and more. The stock is deep, the prices are real, and the vibe is refreshingly no-frills. If you're anywhere near southeastern Massachusetts and need freshwater, saltwater, or pond supplies, this warehouse is worth the detour.

Purchased an item online, delivered via USPS 2 states away in under 3 days. Great pricing, fast shipment. Happy to support a small business over one of the big chains.

This place is Taunton's best kept secret, I've owned fish for years and never seen such a wide selection of quality products. 10/10 recommend visiting if you care about your pets. Have to go back next time I'm in the area. Entrance is to the left of the building of 360.

I placed an order online, they had best prices I could find. Order shipped next day and arrived on time with some free samples of their fish food. I will definitely order from them again

I’ve tried to reach out to Ken’s Fish regarding my order, but unfortunately, they do not respond to emails and there’s been no follow-up from their side. Very disappointing service, especially considering the reputation of their products. Good products, but the lack of customer support and communication makes it a really frustrating experience.
