i’ve been to a few pet stores around the valley and this one I will say is sadly disgusting and just infuriates me. As you walk in there’s an odor of mold and decomposition of organic material. A lot of the terrariums seem like they haven’t been cleaned in months as the hard water build up was tremendous, slime build up, mold growth, algae growth and poop are everywhere. THEY EVEN HAD SPIDERS IN REPTILE TERRARIUMS CATCHING THE ANIMALS FOOD, that’s how disgusting and neglected these animals are. I showed some photos at the end of what I’m talking about, but basically the spiders are thriving in the terrariums with the reptiles! I counted more spiders and cobwebs loose in the store than I counted their overcrowded birds. There was a large amount of algae growth on their fish tanks, some cleaner than others, but there are a few that I could hardly see the poor fish in. They also had axolotls in literal cheap plastic take out containers, with no air bubbles nor filtration! There are also a few fish that were far too large for their size of tanks. I understand they get a lot of animals from the market or from guest and what not but they should have proper places for them if not they shouldn’t take them in. I had a few more concerns but I’ll choose not to mention them for the sake of the length of this review. But I will say they do have an impressive selection of critters. Some that I have never seen before in other stores. But that goes along with a concern that if you don’t have enough time, hands and resources you shouldn’t take in more than you can take care of. Because at the moment a lot of the animals are overcrowded and are in dirty horrible conditions. I own and I work with exotic animals and I’m sad to say this place needs to be better. I’d recommend taking your business elsewhere till they can fix these situations.

I can't speak for the birds, reptiles, and other little cute small mammals. But the fish and plants here are pretty sweet. Prices might be a little high on the fish but, not one of them have died since I brought them home. Also, the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Holy s***! This place has been here for decades.

The staff are really helpful and courteous here. I didn't realize that they're not affiliated with the other Animal Ark in American Fork, but both locations are incredible. This location appears to have a larger selection, but I encourage you to check out both!

Really enjoyed coming here. It does feel kind of... heck I don't know the word. Almost old? But not gonna lie it has such a nice feeling when you get there. Sure, like all pet stores, they have to overstock some animals in order to have enough stock to make profit, but it seemed like the animals were being cared for in a very satisfactory manner. Kudos to this store, they have good availability and I was able to find supplies I had previously only found online. And can I just say the sheer amount of fish they have is jaw dropping. They have species I had never seen in person and overall is an amazing selection of fish. I love this place. Edit: came in here again just earlier today (Dec 21) and I was just blown away. I had a few questions about plants and shrimp and betta fish and the worker went above and beyond to teach me all about all the above. She sold me on an awesome plant and I just felt so taken care of and informed. Absolutely wonderful experience. I dont remember the workers name but shout out to her! Thank you for making my day :)

They were so nice, helping me to purchase and take care of my axolotl. Later I went in and they helped me identify my axolotl's gender free of charge.
