Stopped here on the way back home to Houston. It was unexpected, but it was worth it. Screech and Brisket were the gentlemen that gave us a tour.. they have so many exotic reptiles!! The employees are very knowledgeable and friendly!! I love reptiles my self so will be coming one day! Definitely recommend. My boy enjoyed the turtle rescue pond, if you’re into reptiles, this is the place.

Walking in I was excited to see the fish, there were few signs of neglect. Then I noticed the back room for “exotic animals”, and after paying to get in I was immediately greeted with multiple signs of abuse and neglect. There were animals in enclosures too small, animals that didn’t belong together were sharing enclosures, and to make matters even worse there were two alligators with little to no water in their “pond”. Not to mention the parrots that were literally saying “I’m sad”. Then to top it all off there was a lemur in the very back that was clearly abused and holding it’s stuffed animal, which seemed to be it’s only source of comfort in an otherwise dangerous and toxic environment. Stop supporting this shop it’s ONLY in it for the money not for the love and care of animals.

Omg, this place is AMAZING! Our two year old daughter loved it and the workers here are so attentive. KUDDOS to Brisket who really took the time to show us all the animals in the back. We HIGHLY recommend going. It’s about $5 to check out the back. GO TO THE BACK!!! It’s worth it. 🤗
