I am not entirely sure if there is new ownership, but things have not been the same since the move to the Western location. It is completely unacceptable that I was given less than five minutes to respond to your phone call before a significant grooming decision - shaving my dog - was made without my informed consent. I responded in under 5 minutes and when I said I would come get my dog to avoid being shaved, I was informed it had already been done. I did sign a matt contract but had specifically asked at drop off to be informed before anything was done because we did not want him shaved. When entrusting you with my pet’s care; I expect clear, timely, and reasonable communication, especially regarding decisions that drastically affect their appearance and well-being. A rushed decision of this magnitude should never be imposed on a pet owner. It demonstrates a lack of professionalism and consideration for the clients wishes. The experience was not only disappointing but also disrespectful to the trust placed in your care. I hope you will address how this will be prevented in the future to ensure your services are aligned with customer expectations and basic standards of communication so others won’t be affected as I have. We won’t be back to Coronado Pet Shoppe.”
