Animal House Pet Shop

The staff are extremely knowledgeable about caring for my Bearded Dragon. They have everything he needs (including gross bugs!) and provide helpful tips. And they love to see him when he comes with me and ask about him when I don't. I love the staff and the shop! UPDATE: 01.22.26 Unfortunately, due to failure of detecting the issue on his first visit followed by traumatic and unnecessary surgery, my beloved Spike passed. However, I was given a new dragon!! She's a sweet little thing and we are still getting to know each other. I always take her with me to Animal House. The staff there are so knowledgeable and helpful. Nikki is especially knowledgeable about dragons, giving Thorn a look over, offering advice, and putting me at ease about whatever I am freaking out about that particular day. I just say enough good things about this place. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. They will also talk to other staff for confirmation, feedback and/or advice. Everyone at Animal House is so wonderful! Attentive, respectful, knowledgeable, able to share experience and give advice. Almost all my contact has been with Nikki. I bring in my dragon, Thorn, and Nikki is able to tell I'm overfeeding Thorn, I thought she was getting fat!! Nikki also gives advice about feeding and tank set up. What I really love about Nikki is she is always glad to give advice. She never makes me feel like my questions are stupid or rushes me through my many questions. I have, and will continue to, recommend Animal House to anyone who asks, or even has a pet. I will continue to feed my dragon with food from AH, and ONLY Ah!!

My best friend Emmie loves shopping here for pet supplies and for her pet animals, She bought a red pet fish here for her husband. My best friend Emmie has a lot of Jumping spiders if anyone is interested in getting them as pets.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Care and Compassion I bought four tiny White’s tree frogs from The Animal House in Oregon City. They had just arrived from an out‑of‑state breeder, and unfortunately one of the babies passed within the first day due to travel stress. I reached out to let Nikki know — not expecting anything more than a little understanding. Nikki and Ryan went above and beyond. They offered genuine sympathy, reassured me it wasn’t my fault, and even invited me to come in and choose another baby to help fill the void. That level of kindness and customer focus is rare and meant so much to me. The remaining three frogs are thriving, active, and settling in beautifully, which speaks to the quality of the animals they bring in. Photos included! :) The Animal House has absolutely earned a loyal customer. I’ll be returning again and again because they treat both their animals and their customers with real heart.💜

This shop is so wonderful! After having a HORRIBLE experience with another reptile shop we heard of Animal house! We purchased the most wonderful Verrucosus chameleon from them! We dealt with Nikki via phone for a few days then had the pleasure of meeting her in person. She was very informative, although the shop was very busy She took the time to talk with my husband, and I and give us as much information as she possibly could. Even after bringing our new pet home, Nikki still went out of her way to send us a beautiful text message letting us know the habits and any other information she thought would be important for the Chameleon we purchased. Nikki took the time to make sure that we had the proper set up for our new pet. I will be completely honest, although some of the prices are a bit high I would much rather pay the higher prices and deal with a knowledgeable reptile store than have to deal with somebody who doesn’t know anything about the animals that they are selling. THANK YOU ANIMAL HOUSE AND NIKKI!!!!

Animal House is my first stop for all my pet related needs. Specialized food for my dogs, engaging treats/toys for my cats, the highest quality care advice for my snakes and fish, they have it all! They even have everything I need to build the bioactive terrariums my reptiles love, drainage, substrates, live/fake plants, moss, decor, everything to make the perfect home for my babies.

I absolutely love animal house. All of the staff are incredibly knowledgeable. We have acquired many reptile babies this past year. From bearded dragons to gecko’s, we have worked very closely with the reptile/store manager, Nikki, to become the best reptile parents. She helped my husband and I surprise my grandmother with her own crested gecko baby. She created a beautiful enclosure full of enrichment. I would absolutely recommend animal house to everyone!

Long time customer and won't go anywhere else. The staff are friendly, super knowledgeable and have been crucial to the care of all my pets for years now. Rose and Sophia helped me find the perfect foods for my dogs' various nutritional needs and Ryan's advice has saved my fish from several amateur mistakes. I'll be a customer here for life!

I've been coming to Animal House for over ten years and can't say enough good things about them. Half my reptile collection originated here and Nikki's help over the years has been invaluable in keeping them happy and thriving. Even now that we've moved, we still drive the 1.5 hours to get our pets the care and quality of product that a box store just can't beat.

I have been going to the animal house for many years now and absolutely love the staff there especially Nikki and Ryan they are super friendly and educational on what they love to do. And we go at least two times a week to look at the animals and get stuff for my animals at home. I highly recommend them if you are looking to support our local business. Also the animals are very well taken care of too.

Best store ever. The only one I will go to. Nikki and Ryan are the most amazing and friendly, and always up for a teaching moment about the animals. I have been going to them for a number of years. Highly recommend.❤️
