Written on the tanks as of today, 4/22/2026 at 1:05pm several of the schooling fish are on sale for 7.99/3. Obviously this means for 3 small schooling fish (Neon tetras) it is 7.99. An actual deal, considering these fish go for roughly 2.99 at Petsmart right now. I proceed to pick out three species of small schoolers, and then plants and a pleco I was after. I get to the register and notice something wrong. The bags have written on them not 5.99, 7.99, and 5.99, but triple the prices. Very confused I ask why the 7.99 for three fish are magically $20. ESPECIALLY FOR THREE SMALL NEON TETRAS. They reply they are 7.99 each. To be fair the clerk seemed confused too, but the lady who helped me with the fish said they are indeed nearly $20. I immediately excused myself from the store, I will rather drive to the literaly next closest small fish store and spend the gas money than spend $20 for three neon tetras. It just shows how they run their business, and a business like that is not one I ever intend to spend my money in ever again.”
