About
TSM Aquatics is a saltwater-focused aquarium store in Pennsauken Township, NJ, and the moment you walk in you understand the reputation: a spotless, well-organized facility lined with row after row of vibrant coral, from beginner-friendly zoas to high-end colonies that make seasoned reef keepers reach for their wallets. Reef hobbyists across South Jersey happily make the drive, and more than one returning customer — including a reviewer who came back after spending a year rebuilding a crashed tank — says the selection genuinely surprised them. The coral is the headline.
You will find zoas priced per head, hammers, and a constant stream of new pieces, much of it competitively priced. TSM runs live auctions every Thursday and Sunday that have become a community ritual, and customers repeatedly mention getting larger frags than advertised — one buyer reported nearly triple the advertised polyps on a high-end coral. When one purchase didn't go perfectly, the team stood behind it honestly and even waited a week to see whether the zoas would pull through — the kind of follow-through that keeps people coming back.
TSM is equally known for its quarantined saltwater fish. A rigorous 30-day quarantine process means the Kole tangs, copperband butterflies, sailfin tangs, tri-color anthias, and flasher wrasses for sale in Pennsauken Township, NJ tend to settle in eating immediately and free of parasites. Longtime customers buying livestock over several years report never tracing a disease outbreak back to TSM.
Live rock, invertebrates, and anemones round out the system, and on-site ICP water testing is available for dialing in your parameters. Staff are the other constant in the reviews. Rob and Josh get named again and again for patiently walking customers — kids included — through coral care levels, lighting, and feeding schedules, whether you are stocking a nano reef or a first 90-gallon.
For anyone searching for healthy corals and quarantined reef fish near me, this Pennsauken Township aquarium store is a destination worth the trip.

Customer reviews
“The store has an amazing online auctions, was filled with a wide variety of coral and the worker was very helpful with answering my questions and gave me a great deal on some zoas”

— Robert Vander Veur5.0a month ago“A beautiful selection of healthy, vibrant corals followed by excellent customer service for a fair price! I’ll definitely be back!”
— Anton SimX5.02 months ago“After i went on vacation and had someone else care for my reef tank I came home to two fish tanks of dead corals and fish. I let my tank cycle and after a year I am now buying corals again. Sitting around looking online I found TSM and my wife and I decided to take a ride and check them out. I was extremely surprised by the selection of coral that they have and after looking around decided on a hammer and a bunch of zoas. First I thought the hammer was double the price I paid which was very surprising and the zoas were price per head. Most places are priced per frag but they gave me double or triple the heads I paid for. Which was freaking awesome. Brought them all home dipped the corals no parasites at all just a few copapodes which tells me they have a very healthy system. All in all I 100% will be back my wife is already talking about what she wants next. The only negative was they were very busy and I had a little trouble figuring out the prices but that is just looking for an issue. Thank you TSM team for helping me make my tank beautiful again.”
— Pocket Balls5.03 months ago“This place is really great! I've stocked my tank with a bunch of coral from their auctions. Everything went great except for one order that got too hot. They honored their DOA policy and even waited a week to see if the zoas recovered or not. Great, honest business!”
— Chris5.03 months ago“Josh and Rob were great, they went out of their way to help us and show and explain how they do things to really explain how things are done and what things we should do to make our tanks better. Will definitely be back!!”
— Frank Burke5.04 months ago“Awesome place for fish and coral. The people working there are super helpful and take the time to educate. Have worked with them to buy quarantined fish (have bought 3 from them without any issues) and have bought corals from them through the auctions they run on Thursdays and Sundays. all corals have been super healthy and most times they end up giving me larger frags than advertised. One time they even gave me almost triple the advertised polyps on a high end coral. Couldn’t recommend them enough”
— Mina Himaia5.03 hours ago“Very large selection of fish and corals. Have had great luck with the livestock here”
