What was received vs what was ordered....first order was correct but dead so they did a replacement with the wrong ones and wont answer emails.....now I understand they don't always look like the picture to witch you are promoting their sale but this ain't even of the same colors as what was ordered....the blue one is blk as night and the leopard is not close to leopard looking....I got bait and switched on a 200 dollar plus order....beware of sellers as I will be taking my Friday to dispute charges and take unwanted fish to the fish store.

Wattley is new to me and so are Discus, I have watched a lot of videos and Trusting Wattley is easy enough to buy products from him. Waiting on Cichlids and plecos coming tomorrow, will take pictures when they arrive. 12/09/24. I love their Beef heart too, made very well, my Discus love it.

I had previously written a very negative review about Gabe Posada And just wanted to follow up that I have been in the process of disputing my charge for the four checkerboard cichlids that came in like a quarter inch size and Were eaten within a day and Gabe refused to do anything for me at all and it was my first time ordering and it was like $400. I still can’t get over how this man treated me so badly a first time customer placing a nice order and coming to him in a nice way with a legitimate problem and he just went off the deep end with me, raising his voice and cursing at me, I also noticed that any negative review he gets He responds in a very nasty way, and even using language, which is not very smart to do with social media you have to do everything you can to protect your reputation, but I am beginning to see the picture now he answers the emails. He answers the phone and he told me that the business is losing money. I believe this man might’ve been great at one time, but for whatever reason he went downhill and so is the business it’s a shame but there’s no excuse for it. I was also in The Restaurant business for 40 years, which is a very very difficult business and I had my ups and downs and they were years where I was losing money. I had so many surgeries I can’t count and so did my wife. She got very sick and eventually passed, but you know what I still treated every customer with respect, and if I had gotten a negative review, which sometimes I did, I always responded in a very professional way. I don’t know what happened to this man. it’s a shame because the previous owner Jack seem like an incredible man with an incredible reputation at this company. I have a feeling they won’t be around much longer, but I hope they do and I hope that Gabe can realize his shortcomings and try to correct them. I wish him the best. I really do some people just can’t handle life. Gabe you really are destroying your reputation with your vulgar mouth, don’t you realize how many people can see who is the bad guy here. Why do you call me names? I have a life and I’m very proud of it unfortunately, you cannot say the same. You have no idea who I am but it wouldn’t matter to you because of the nasty person that you are, you don’t deserve to carry the name of Jack Whattley. I will be getting my money back from my credit card company and you will be the one giving me the refund. I have also notified the Better Business Bureau and consumer affairs in regards to your unethical and immoral business practices. Please respond once again in a negative fashion as you have done to so many people so that you could damage your business even further like you told me how you’re losing money this is why you’re losing money Gabe I came to you as a first time customer I have 12 tanks. I placed a first time $400 order and you couldn’t make good on four little fish. I average about $2000 a month in online fish purchases, which could’ve been yours. I dealt with you in a respectful and professional matter and you responded like the vicious animal that you are so please prove me right once again and respond back with another nasty vulgar language like you did to me on the phone. I will never forget it and I will never forgive you and if I ever happen to come down your way, I will make sure I will stop in to say hello. You can’t miss me. I have been getting mail delivery fish for years and I have a great report with all of them. I know them by name and they really take care of me for example. Dans fish The Wetspot Imperial Tropicals Aqua Imports Aquatic Arts Tristians Tropicals Nu Aqua Aquaticlarity But this guy. Gabe The owner is a nasty nasty man. I was looking for a particular fish and found it at his website. Jack Whattley discuss I placed a $400 order I mentioned how excited I was to try them out that this is my first time ordering from them. I get the delivery and I had ordered four checkerboard cichlids and they came in at around a quarter inch size to half inch size never ever have I seen that particular fish being delivered so small practically fry. They did not state the size on the website. I have 12 tanks I put them in the tank with the smallest fish, but they were eaten within a day. I contacted him the same day after delivery and he got back to me saying basically it is what it is. That upset me they were $20 apiece and shipping was $110 more than double the price of anywhere else fine I don’t have a problem with that as long as I get what I’m paying for, but these fish were sold so small and for that price and when I called him on the phone mind you the entire time I’m being extremely courteous and polite, and I state my grievance and he comes back at me raising his voice and yelling. I couldn’t believe it here I am a first time customer spending good money and I have a serious problem that was totally there fault and I’m still being nice and I’m trying to get it resolved, and this man attacked me in such a vicious way cursing and using language then I had to start using language back. He got me so upset and I just can’t believe that this man and Company has all the positive reviews it has it just blows me away. I can’t understand how someone like that could be in business and I know about business because I ran a successful one for 40 years. I would never ever ever ever buy from them again nor would I ever recommend them he should be ashamed of himself talking to a customer a new customer that is being nice and treating him in such a horrible disrespectful way keep if you’re reading this Gabe you should be so ashamed of yourself

BUY Wattley Discus, they are overall HEALTHIER FISH. WORTH IT!!! I left a review a year back but I wanted to give a update after a little more experience with discus. I believe Wattleys discus have a much better immune system compared to another place I purchased. Wattleys are a little bit more money but its 1000% worth it not having to deal with fish that compromised immune systems. Background I purchased a dozen or so 2-3in discus here from Wattley. However I was getting a little impatient with their growth so I purchased another half dozen 5-6in discus from a different breeder for $150 a discus. The fish all get along beautifully. My original 3" Wattley Discus are growing great and nearly the size of the 5". However, the 5" ones I purchased from a different breeder keep getting Hexamita. None of my Wattley have gotten it over the year of them being together. The fish were imported from Malaysia that keep getting Hexamita. All the discus are in a community tank. None of my cardinal tetras, loaches, pleco, corys, or Wattley Discus have it. ONLY the discus imported from Malaysia. The Malaysian discus iv owned for a year and still eating and content but every so often they get more pits in there head.Its beyond frustrating. Iv dewormed a handful of times and it just keeps happening. From further research and watching my paramaters etc. Iv come to conclusions its simply bc the malaysian imports must have some sort of compromised immune system. So there is that to consider. I wont get as many years out of the malaysian imports as I would have with Wattley nor would I have to deal with treatments. The energy and money it ended up costing me in them long run was no worth it.

Received 12 red rafflesia and checkerboards (4 inches). They all look very bright and vibrant. They are gorgeous and healthy. Best thing is, they quickly got adjusted with dry pellet foods and freeze-dried foods. I was hesitant to start beef heart again, which is the number one spoiler for water quality, especially for a planted tank. Thanks so much to Jack Wattley team!
