Bluewater Zoo Exotic Aquariums & Reptiles

Bluewater Zoo is my favorite pet stores. The animals are ALWAYS healthy and happy. The employees are so friendly, helpful and KNOWN THEIR STUFF. The owners are constantly bringing in new goodies and harder-to-acquire fish, reptiles, bugs, plants… whatever you can think of, theyll have it or get it for you. I’ve regularly seen the owner in store and she’s always asking for feedback or willing to show you any critter you’re browsing for. These are just genuinely good folks working in this store that clearly care for their hobbies. I’ve bought countless isopods, feeder insects, reptile friends and other terrarium project stuff. Not a single complaint. Even if you’re going just to browse, they have awesome display tanks and loads of cool animals to watch. They have all kinds of stuff for many different hobbies and absolutely worth a trip (I happily make the hour and a half trip). This review was long overdue and well earned, I am already plotting my next visit 😁

Fantastic! This is the best Saltwater Fish and Coral Store in Northwest Florida! All the shops in Pensacola closed down, so I had to look for a new, trusted location to get fish, coral, and clean up crew. Bluewater Zoo had everything! Their store and tanks are very clean, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable! Also, the marine life I got was all extremely healthy! This is my new go-to store and I highly recommend them! I wish they had a store in Pensacola, but I would end up breaking the bank if they were any closer, lol oh yeah I almost forgot their prices are reasonable too.

5 stars because everyone here is super nice and they’re very knowledgeable, my only issue is last time I was in, we only went to just look at the fish and ended up spending close to $400 (I have a weakness for reptiles) 😆 but everything is thriving and I’m anticipating my next visit lmao.

Ive always dreamed of a gorgeous all natural tank with its own thriving ecosystem, but after multiple trips to Petco and me doing all the right stuff.... I ended up with dead fish and a terrible bladder snail problem. So I finally went elsewhere.... I came to Bluewater! I came in for a simple goldfish bc of my previous 5 failures but after talking out everything I was doing in my tank with a couple employees and a very passionate patron, I left with a better plan and more confidence! I love my small hobby and am glad to have found a far superior place for my needs! I will not be going back to Petco again. Thanks Bluewater.... my dream of an all natural tank ecosystem is on its way!

I bought an air pump, sponge filter air tubing, and red worms from this store for my axolotl tank. The air pump that I bought brand new does not blow air, the air tubing was so kinked that I had to cut multiple lengths and use connections to get the required length I needed, the worms were all dead by the time I got them from the store in fort walton to baker where I live. The only thing that might work is the sponge filter as it has no mechanical parts and relies on a working air pump for operation. I will not be purchasing anything ever again from this store after I go and return my non working air pump and replace it with a working one that they will show me works before leaving the store. I would recommend all customers operational test all equipment bought from this establishment in order to save yourself multiple trips and the headache, or just go somewhere else.
