About
Lush Corals is a saltwater-dedicated aquarium store in Boynton Beach, FL, and walking in feels like stepping into a private reef — spotless show tanks, vibrant color everywhere, and a layout reviewers compare to World Wide Corals in Orlando. Hobbyists routinely drive 40 minutes to an hour to browse, and many call it the reef destination Palm Beach County waited decades for. Owner Susan grows much of the coral herself on-site, and her husband Andrew, who left a real estate career to help build her vision, works the floor alongside a team customers know by name — Aaron, Giovanni (Geo), and Alyssa among them, plus a marine biologist on staff.
The selection runs from beginner-friendly frags to high-end show pieces, with strong SPS, LPS, soft corals, chalice, cynarina, and plate corals for sale in Boynton Beach, FL. The fish side earns the same praise: designer clownfish, lightning maroons, Desjardini sailfin tangs, and a pygmy angel, plus Rock Flower Anemones, invertebrates, and cleanup crews. One regular says his corals have grown to four times their original size under Giovanni's guidance.
What sets Lush apart is the care behind every animal. Fish are quarantined for two weeks and corals are treated before they reach the floor, so the displays stay disease-free — customers repeatedly note zero ich. The shop also tests water and walks newcomers through dirty-tank recovery, stocks a full wall of equipment, dry goods, foods, supplements, and additives, and fills RODI water for cleanup-crew runs.
Serious aquarists come here for complete custom tank installs, too, including Apex-automated systems with plumbed automatic water changes. Whether you're cycling your first nano or chasing a rare centerpiece coral, the staff take their time, ask about your specific setup, and offer judgment-free advice. For healthy livestock and supplies available in Boynton Beach, FL, Lush Corals has become the aquarium store South Florida reefers swear by.

“Giovanni was great help. He was working on selling without being pushy. A+ I will be back.”
— Jose marrufo5.0a week ago“I can not say enough good things about this company! They are better then any store I have been to locally in my area. They have been great about communication and were able to hold my fish when I had a scare in my tank and wanted to make sure it was safe before adding new fish. Their fish and corals came perfectly. LOVE that they quarantine! I would not hesitate to use them again! They have a new customer for life!”
— Dana P5.02 weeks ago“Gorgeous anemones! Can't wait to get my tank set up! This store is top of the line!”
— Michael Ciongoli5.02 weeks ago“Updated one year later: Rating: 5/5 Stars If you are looking for a reef shop where genuine passion meets real expertise, Lush Corals is the place. After selling his successful real estate business, Andrew Burrow poured his knowledge into supporting his wife Susan’s vision. With their kids turning into teenagers and freeing up more of their time, they have been able to fully embody her passion for this hobby, and the results are incredible. Susan’s ability to keep all of the amazing creatures under her care in such pristine condition is a true testament to her dedication. She is constantly bringing in new, exciting pieces and learning about them firsthand, which adds a constant element of discovery to her already fantastic selection of SPS, LPS, and soft corals. The staff here—including the fabulous Alyssa, Geo, Aaron, and the rest of the team—truly sets the standard for customer service. What stands out most is their patience in absorbing the details of your system. They ask insightful follow-up questions and provide tailored advice. Even when you don't perfectly follow their initial guidance or think you can get by cutting a corner, there is no judgment. They simply take the new data from your situation and skillfully guide you further toward success. Personally, between managing my outdoor botanical collections and other projects, I don't have the time or funds to maintain anything more demanding than my current systems. I run four small displays (10-20 gallons) and a quarantine setup of the same size, stocked with Rock Flower Anemones, invertebrates, beautiful designer clownfish, lightning maroons, and a pygmy angel. Despite not being a high-roller chasing the most difficult corals, I am treated exceptionally well. The staff knows the specifics of my setups and genuinely asks how everything is doing on every single visit. Whether you are an advanced reefer or just stopping in for RODI water and a cleanup crew, you won't find a better shop than what the Burrows have built. Highly recommend! Original Review: This place is amazing! Susan the owner is attentive and the shop is spotless. Fantastic selection of saltwater aquarium care and maintenance products. Vibrant corals and spunky fish. My new LFS.”
— Eric Graham5.0Edited 3 weeks ago“I recently received my order of four fish, and every one of them was eating within minutes of being introduced to the tank. They were active, healthy, and confidently coming to the surface for food right away. I’ve ordered fish from many other retailers over the years, and most experiences have been disappointing by comparison. The quarantine process at Lush saves an incredible amount of time, stress, and effort that I would otherwise have to handle myself. Last year, a velvet outbreak wiped out the majority of my fish. I left my tank fallow for five months and made a promise to myself that I would never add an unquarantined fish again. While Lush fish may cost a bit more upfront than non-quarantined options, a dead fish is far more expensive in the long run. The peace of mind, health, and quality are absolutely worth it. I’ll definitely be ordering again soon.”
— Rodel D5.0a month ago“Owner and staff are not welcoming or attentive. Felt like I was completely invisible in the store. The store is very nice I’m local and heard about them at reefapalooza so I wanted to check it out. Was looking to buy fish but after trying to get someone’s attention for so long I got frustrated and left.”
