“My husband always enjoyed shopping at Pisces Fish and Coral. After his sudden death I was unable to maintain his beautiful salt water tank. When I went to the store to ask for help in breaking down the tank and rehoming our seahorses, pajama cardinals, clownfish, and other sea creatures, I was immediately helped. The owner Joshua, came to my house in a very timely manner. He was so supportive and even remembered my husband shopping at the store. He assured me that our pets would go to good homes. I highly recommend this store and now see why my husband enjoyed going there.”

I have had a tank in the past with a betta but I went to them because I wanted to create a tank with live plants, a new betta since mine had passed, I got a couple ottos from them. I ended. Up getting a snail problem so I got a pea puffer I call Pete and he eats some of the snails. Many betta groups I am on - on Facebook say not to put a pea puffer with a betta but I really have not had any problems. I love my tank and have an "itch" to buy a bigger one. My live plants are doing great and I have learned that a few tank snails are good for the ecosystem. I really rely on them for all my fishtank needs.”

The tanks are clean, the fish look healthy, and there’s a wide variety of products to choose from. Visually, the store is well organized and impressive. This was my first time visiting, and I could see right away why people speak highly of it. I’m not a confrontational person and I have extreme social anxiety, so I tend to keep my visits quick. When I came in, there were about five people in the store (including me) and one employee, which seemed reasonable for the store size. The employee greeted me, asked if I had any questions, and was helpful when I asked about aquarium soil. He seemed friendly, knowledgeable, and overall a nice person. The only reason I’m leaving feedback is because of how checkout went. When it came time for the customer he’d been helping for the past 20 minutes to pay, that customer cut right in front of me and stood uncomfortably close, clearly trying to get me to move like he was “owed” the right to check out first. The employee saw this happen and still rang him up before me. I had clearly been waiting in line with one item in my hand for over 5 minutes, and it would have taken less than a minute to ring me up before continuing with him. I wish the situation had been handled differently, as it left me feeling a bit overlooked during my first visit. Overall, this is a great store with a lot to offer, and I can see why it’s so well reviewed. However, this was my first impression and it came with a bad experience. I’m just getting into the saltwater aquarium hobby, and this store seemed to have everything I’d need.”
