I still stand by that original review but now I've got a dog too and I popped in today just to browse and the staff was so incredibly helpful in helping me pick out the perfect products for my puppy. Still my favorite pet store in town. If you aren't sure which product to pick just ask for help, the staff is super friendly and will make sure you get the right product for your pet. --- Original review: Knowledgable, kind, and take amazing care of their fish. Cannot recommend this place enough. I like to shop local even if it means spending a few more bucks and was expecting to do that when I heard about this store but they were actually cheaper than PetSmart for the items I bought for my gecko. They have large fish in tanks that are unsuitable for them, and you can easily see the lack of care. Their focus seems to be on selling expensive items, but without knowing much about them. Their fish are overpriced and are often dead. As of a few days ago, I observed two dead axolotls. Want cheaper and healthier fish? Go anywhere else. A single shrimp for $7.99? Is the rent due tomorrow?”

It's wonderful. My cat also appreciates woofs having the best litter (sustainably yours) and his favorite canned food (purrsnickity).
