Aqua World Pet Super Center

I shocked by how many great reviews there were for this shop. One of the dirtiest aquarium shops I've been to. It was hard to see through some of the tanks due to algae build up. Some tanks didn't have the correct species compared to what the pricing was on the glass. There were huge fish in tiny tanks. I wouldn't trust that I'd be buying healthy fish from here. The two workers there didn't seem friendly. It seemed like they didn't care they had customers in the store.

They really cleaned the place up.l from when it was last in a couple years ago. It used to have kind of a 'back room' kind of feel to it but now it's a lot brighter and open. Tanks aren't spotless but in a lot of cases I think the fish prefer it that way. Sparkling tanks at big box stores almost always have dead fish floating around. Here, you don't see that. Variety is huge, freshwater and marine. Reptiles, snakes and spiders- the habitats look new, and BIRDS. My daughter loves to come with me and browse. It doesn't have the polish of an immaculate establishment, but the improvement was a great surprise. It seems like a place for the serious aquarist to go. I think it could be five stars if they would make the tank labels more legible on some cases so you can ID some of the more exotic species. Even if you're not ready to stock a tank I recommend go check it out, it's an experience.

Absolutely ABYSMAL care of the fish and animals. Looks as if most tanks haven't even had so much as a wipe down in months. Have very large fish in incredibly small tanks, and vast majority of tanks in store had 1-3 long dead fish inside. I wouldn't even so much as buy a plant from this location to put in my tank for risk of disease. Genuinely depressing walking up and down the aisles. There are much more ethical places to buy fish in this area. I would even say petco it giving 98%more care to those in their stores, qnd their conditions are bad as well. My god I am appalled

Almost every single fish tank was completely filthy, some were less than half full of water. A lot of dead fish left floating in the tanks. Saw a full size Bichir living in less than 3 inches of water. This place needs to be investigated for animal negligence. I would not recommend coming here.

Friendly environment and good people who know what they are doing with fish

This review isn't because of my experience of the store. In fact I've never been there but more on the informational aspect of their website. I wanted to get more info on what inventory they might have because I didn't want to make a wasted trip if I didn't have to but no inventory found. I don't know maybe it's just a bug but I doubt it. Maybe that should be updated that way people actually know what you have and not wasting money coming when they can be spending it there.

I love this place. It's quirky and cool. The fish and plants seem very healthy and they are well priced. I will go hear every time I need anything for my aquarium. Except for natural stone. Elmer's has a better price for natural stone, but Aqua World has a better price for everything else.

Excellent staff that helps you with all your aquatic needs. Would highly recommend.

Awful, depressing and sad. I feel terrible for the animals that have to spend their lives at this hole.

Do you love your pets? If you said yes then don’t come here. DO NOT buy any food for your animals here. I bought 6 mice. I fed my bearded dragon and ball python the mice. Both animals that I have owned for 7 years now. Both DIED!!!!! They both started vomiting the mice, choking up blood, and started suffocating not even an hr after eating. I use to work in the animal field. I told my husband they would be dead within the hour no point to drive to an ER because we wouldn’t make it. Sadly I was right. I’m so devastated my normal place (off the hook amazing place btw and wonderful staff) was closed for an event. I came here instead to get my feeders and worst mistake I ever made. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t walk RUN away from this place. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I couldn’t save my babies. I’m hoping I can save someone else’s babies.
