SATOO Reptiles and Aquatics

We connected with SATOO through MorphMarket in purchasing our blue iguana. She is beautiful and majestic, however we are positive she is blind or going blind in one eye. We have consulted various reptile experts and cataract is suspected. Although she suffers from a disability we love her nonetheless. I’m not sure if SATOO was aware of her condition or not because the only sign/symptom we noticed when she arrived was a membrane type cloudy film over the affected eye.

Ordered a "snow" which I assume are hetrozygous, and shows they have grey eyes, and mostly a grey body, according to their "best representation" photos. Seems that I recieved what appears to be a "platinum", which the photos depict normal red eyes, darker body and a few red patches. I was sent one with red eyes and a few muted red patches that matches closer to the platinum photos and NOT the "Snow" I ordered. The animal arrived alive and seems to be in okay condition..... BUT The "snow" costs close to $100 more.....so be warned that you might be decived, they will send you the cheaper animal if you purchase online if they look similar and hope you don't notice. First photo is the animal I received, the next 2 are SATOOS ads with "BEST Representative photos" see how the one I received best matches "platinum" when I paid the higher price for the "snow"? The last photo shows I paid for the snow....not a platinum.

Seriously, Preston was incredible in helping me get my daughters and axolotl. He went way above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and made my daughters incredibly happy and me the father of the year. Couldn't be more grateful.

There was a lot of variety, the store was clean and it appeared that the animals were well taken care of, but there were at least 3 employees when we came in and none of them even bothered to greet us let alone ask if we needed any help. Due to the lack of customer service we chose to give Animal Jungle in Stow our business instead, which we feel is even nicer (in more ways than one).

Best reptile place around! Reminds me of Parma pets back in the day on ridge road kinda! Just bigger and cleaner and better lol. Super friendly staff also. They have some super cool cages with alligators and other cool reptiles! My son bought a gecko from here and we have been going here since they have been location in Lakewood. Best reptile store around!
