Buyer beware! Locally owned by a very nice family. The service is great and generally if you ask them if something will work they will say yes, regardless of whether it's probably true. I love browsing their new shipments and oddball fish that are hard to find outside of Columbus but you are taking a huge risk. I pulled the trigger on 2 discus from here and despite 6 months and 1 year, respectively, I could not get weight on these fish and they eventually both succumbed to whirling and sudden death. Their prices are amazing but you are gambling on poor quality fish. I am happy they've been in business all these years and I can't resist visiting now and then but nothing has lasted long term (not the case with discus shipped to me or fish bought from Cbus stores I've had for years). Please, be careful and quarantine!!!

Buyer BEWARE... When buying from this store beware the old lady ran my card twice said there was a problem on her end with my card, even though I got a notification that it went through and my bank received the transaction. She ran my Card again, and it charged my account twice of $39.06 and it overdrafted my account so that was the first problem with RJ Aquarium.😠😡🤬 Second issue I had was I Got the Tiger barbs home and within the hours of getting it home and acclimated they died. The other three I bought are hardier fish and still thriving. However for the first time buyer I'm disappointed ☹️ in the old lady running it who took advantages of me. Third is The Lady who was running the place did not at all know what she was talking about about, Because I had a 10 gallon Tank and after talking with my sister in law who is very smart with her fish knowledge, she told me the lady gave me every fish that was not good for the size of my tank. Like the catfish I got I found out is a Colombian shark catfish and it's ment for a 70-120 gallon tank, thankfully my sister in-law will take it once it starts to Out grow my tank. She Told me all the fish I got are fine for my tank and they are all kinds of wrong for my size tank I have. I'm shaking my head. 😲 😳 I will NEVER go back to this place ever again because of my fish dying, her lack of knowledge or just wanting to make a sale, and double charging me. Not impressed at all, because I got scammed out of money twice.😡😡Very fishy stuff going on not pleased with it at all. 😡😠Horrible! 25 years of service she said she has been doing and it didn't feel like good quality and or service at all. I'm so mad 😡 👿 at this place and the picture are a lie 🤥 it's not at all as nice as the photos portray.
