Yes they might be in the higher side but your paying for a quality fish that was quarantined before it even hitting the stores water system. That there alone is worth the cost. There bloodworms are like 3 dollars compared to 9 for the same about , there salt buckets are even more expensive at saltys for the same stuff there 10 dollars more for some reason!! I got great advice for my corals from aquatics in Cornelius unlike saltys … everytime I went to saltys to get my water tested cuz I knew something wasn’t right cuz corals were closed they keep saying the water looks good to me nothing wrong, even One time I went to get it tested and they told me to leave the sample on the counter and they would call me and I never got a call anywayssss lol , so I got Hannah checkers and tested everything my self everything wasn’t where it should have been at alllll So idk why there telling me my water parameters were all good when they obviously arnt accurate and u can’t take there word … now aquatics in Cornelius is worth the drive to get some GOOD accurate advice and cheaper everything!!!!I mean everything is cheaper there I couldn’t believe I spent so much money at saltys. Aquatics also has just so many more options of all kinds of freshwater fish and plants !!! And triple the amount of kinds of fish, coral and creatures and so many more options there ! I can’t believe i been going there for so long and I knew I couldn’t trust there word after asking for advice for a sick fish and the advice I got my fish died , I told other fish stores and the fish expo in charlotte a few businesses and what advice they gave me for treating the fish and they couldn’t believe the advice they were giving me !!!! I heard not much good about saltys. I will no longer be going to saltys for anything!!!!!! They also said they don’t even quarantine any of their fish unlike all of the other stores I’ve been to they say they quarantine all of their fish !! So I had to put a review since I lost 2 of my corals cuz they kept telling me my water is fine !!!! Don’t offer free testing samples if they aren’t accurate !!! I got Hannah checkers and got my tank parameters fixed with help at aquatics in Cornelius”

Jeremy, the store manager was extremely knowledgeable in the cichlids department and provided me with very helpful information and had top notch service. He did not rush me out of there either as I had to come and pick up fish 15 minutes before they closed due to my work. I won’t be going back to Upscale Aquatics anymore after coming here. The service, care for their fish/animals, and cleanliness of their tanks was far superior to their competitors. If you are getting into or a veteran in the aquatic hobby I would highly recommend checking this place out. They do not solely sell saltwater fish. They have fresh too. They even sell neocaridina shrimp! 10/10.”
