In December of 2024, we had to call to reorder another huge order that they had done for us previously. I had forgotten the owner's name though. And so when the employee answered, I asked if I could speak to Sue (as I thought that was her name). And the employee responded that there was no Sue that worked there. So, I asked her, "What's the manager's name?" And she replied, "Why do you want to know?" And I explained that the manager had already put in large orders for us previously and so I thought her name was Sue. And this completely horrible employee barked back, "Well that's not her name." By that time, I just told her to put her on the phone. And again, she came back with something so stupid, "Why do you want to talk to her?" And by that time, I literally hung up. She was an idiot and a poor representation for that store. Unfortunately, we have never gone back and will not. We returned to driving to ABQ to Simply Diego's and stopping by in Santa Fe at Tulliver's where the employees were much better to work with. It's a bummer because the owner is an incredible woman with an incredible selection of healthy food and supplies for animals But this female employee obviously has some kind of anger issues that just cost another employee from shopping there. Because who talks to customers like that if you don't hate yourself. So, unfortunately, we've changed our star rating to 2 stars. ORGINAL REVIEW IN OCTOBER OF 2024: This place is absolutely amazing, not only for the array of awesome healthy food and supplements, but also for the added accessories! We stumbled upon this shop after spending years traveling back and forth to Santa Fe and Albuquerque to be able to get the top notch food for our senior soul stars... and finding out that they can order everything you need! And at great competitive prices! The customer service is exceptional and I'd have to attribute it to the owner, Sheryl, who is such a pleasure to work with...as well as for the staff she has assembled. They are proficient and knowledgeable as ever. These kinds of people make supporting local businesses a whole lot easier! Thank you so much! 5 stars isn't enough!!!”

I want to thank Cheryl for her kind expertise and sound advice. She recommended new and wonderful products for him to try. He heartily ate everything last night and this morning. I fed him kibble, tripe and Zignature food, which was a big departure from his prior dog food. I am forever grateful!”

In a day and age where small business are quickly becoming a thing of the past, it feels nice to still have a little local pet store that sells high quality treats, toys and food. I love stopping in to purchase bones for my current doggie, and I was a customer throughout the life of my previous soul dog. Also, as someone with an elderly and severely immune compromised mother, I really appreciate that the store owner and the employees have taken covid seriously and have continued to require masking. So frequently, I feel like no one else cares for people like my mom. It's wonderful that Eldorado Country Pet does. Thank you!”

I find that their mask requirements shows how caring they are, a lot of residents in Eldorado are elderly and, possibly dealing with chronic illnesses.”
