These folks are knowledgeable, helpful, and truly care about the animals they have. I purchased the most beautiful betta fish I've ever seen from them, and they even will test your water for free to make sure the parameters are right. Ollie is happily swimming around in his big tank, and I couldn't recommend this place enough.

I cannot brag enough about how sweet the staff are here. I have moved to the area permanently and this is my go-to shop for self bath and dog treats! Even with a major competitor minutes up the street this is still my go-to.

Laconia Pet Center offers many amazing products at great prices. The upper floor often has sale items as well. The store is always clean, organized, and quiet, and things are very easy to find. Due to the layout, the store may be hard to navigate for those who use mobility aids, but I am certain that staff members would assist with retrieving anything you might need. They also sell cycled tank water for fish tanks to ensure that your new pet’s home is ready and healthy. Laconia Pet Center also offers free freshwater and saltwater testing, and will give you solutions if your parameters are not up to par. Laconia Pet Center became my go-to place after I got a betta fish. Every visit, I was blown away and always learned something new. When my fish got sick, they treated me with kindness and professionalism (even as I cried lol), offered potential solutions, but remained realistic about how it would probably end. I described his symptoms and even showed them pictures, and they were willing to come up with ideas of what might be the matter with him. It is so clear that they all love their jobs and animals. Whoever is in charge of hiring here…you’re a superstar! Because of Laconia Pet Center, I was able to give my fish a great life. Unfortunately, my fish passed away a few days ago. I will recommend Laconia Pet Center to any fish owner I know, because so few resources exist out there for us. Every single staff member is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and committed to making sure that everyone’s fishy is as happy and healthy as any other pet can be. I’ll be back when I’m ready for another aquatic buddy!

Best dog wash around. Staff were very pleasant, the dog wash was clean and I didn't feel rushed like did at another local dog wash. I've been going here for years and will continue for many more. Thank you Laconia Pet store for being the best!!
