I used to love going here for my feeder insects for my leopard gecko, but I've noticed a large decline in the care for their animals. The cages for the rodents and birds are frequently dirty and bare. The reptile cages are the same, especially the tortoise. I went in just today to get feeder insects and one of the snakes was left unattended with a large live rat in the cage. One of the leopard geckos looked very unhealthy. There were beta fish in containers with no filter or heater, and they looked quite unhealthy as well. It's very disappointing as I loved Lynn's as an alternative to big pet stores who often have very poor animal husbandry.

Feeder rats & mice much cheaper & better than frozen expensive ones from petsmart/petco. Lots to check out too. Stop by. They moved into a nicer, brighter location with lots to check out. Super nice employees.

I've gotten a hamster, 2 guinea pigs and some fish from Lynn's and each time was great. I've gotten pets from big box stores and had problems but all the pets I've gotten from Lynn's have been healthy and very well taken care of. The products they sell to take care of the animals are also really good. The staff is always friendly when I go there whether I'm getting a new pet or just picking up supplies. My kids also love visiting this pet store.
