Cindy Christians

After recently touring all of the primo fish stores in the Twin Cities, I have to say that this place might be my #1. It was spotless and smelled very clean. It's huge inside, airy, and well laid out (didn't feel claustrophobic). All of the fish, turtles, and aquatic plants there looked to be happy and thriving. Great selection and customer service.

This place is a disgrace. Many of the tanks were filthy and caked with grime. Dead fish in several of the tanks. Huge fish in small tanks. It's very clear they don't care about the welfare of the animals. If you care about animals and fish stay away.

I’ve now bought fish twice from here. The store is dimly lit in a comforting way and a pleasantly marshy smell fills the air. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Fish are healthy and the tanks are clean. They have a great selection of basically anything you could want and their plant tanks are top tier. Prices are very fair and I have been absolutely thrilled with every fish I’ve purchased here. 10/10 experience

Had a very great experience and lots of new knowledge from Mike. Needed to upgrade on a pump. We ended taking his advice on proper pump. Ended up with best pump /quality and top model. Great investment for us. Glad we drove out of our way... we will be back. Love supporting small local businesses.

This place is amazing! The fish and plants are diverse and healthy. The staff is helpful and deeply knowledgeable. They’re well stocked on anything for the beginner, the hobbyist, or the expert. Plus, it’s a beautiful place to learn more about fish!
