Kathy is very friendly and knowledgeable. Customer service and her support was excellent. Very nice selection for the average pet lover. I recommend 50 Fathoms it's more than a great pet store.

I go to 50 fathoms regularly for live feed for my ball pythons. They have great service no matter who is assisting you. The staff is kind and communicative. In particular, Cassie is so enthusiastic and empathetic and has given me so much advice about how to care my snake babies. I enjoy seeing all the cool animals they have in store no matter how I often I go. It’s an honest , small business that I love supporting in the community, and I highly recommend!

Cool selection of live animals. Staff has no idea what they're talking about though. Been here a few times and this last time they tried to convince me that roaches larger than my geckos head are good to feed him. Can't recommend this place.

I was there looking for a hiding spot for my betta and to get my water tested. The employee Zoe helped me with the ornamental part and he was very nice. When it came time to get my water tested the girl behind the counter was reluctant to test my water, she was overtly bitter about everything, and far too uneducated to keep anything alive. I was very fortunate that there was an additional employee behind the counter to correct her mistake. Although he didn’t have a welcoming personality he did possess the knowledge that is required to have employment.
