I recently lost a female zebra Finch. She was kind of puffy looking and she was eating so I just left her alone with the other zebras. I found her deceased so I jumped inmy car and went to Buy U A Bird and purchased one. My new bird is in excellent health and she already paired up with a male The thing that I really like about this store is that the owner knows about birds and isn't some worker who is only about making money and selling something they know nothing about. This is the only place I'll go to if I need a bird. Her birds are also in superior health.

I love this place. Mrs. Lisa is SO nice and educated. I have been twice and I loved going both times. I’m considering getting a bird and will definitely buy from this place.

For years I would pass by this place and thought they only sold bird cages. About a month ago I stopped at PetSmart to buy a few tropical fish. The clerk and I were talking and I asked if the store sold birds and she said no and that PetSmart was doing away with birds completely. She then asked me if I knew where Buy u a bird was and she told me that Buy U A Bird sold excellent birds. I went to that store and the birds the owner sells looked fantastic. I purchased a few zebra finches and they are healthy and somewhat tame. They sometimes take a bath while I feed them. I was standiing in front of their cage and three came and perched on the cage wires and started whistling to me. I'M glad that I found this place and the owner is very nice and definitely knows her birds.

I'm new in town and was very happy to find a family owned bird store. She had a better mix for my bourkes parakeets and I found Lisa very friendly and helpful with my stand and toys I got from there. Definitely recommend

The owner and staff are super knowledgeable about birds and loves them too. She has a great assortment of handmade perches and other things. The food she offers is great. Great variety of birds to choose from. Hard to stay out of her store if you're a bird lover.

Love this place! The birds are very well taken care, and they have great a great inventory of everything you could possibly need! They have high quality food and great suggestions for avian vets! Best exotic bird store I have ever visited.

Lisa is great to work with! She knows her stuff. She was kind and pleasant. Didn't seem bothered when questions arose. Gave me a beautiful cockatiel that has spoiled our house within the 3 days we've had him. I wish I would have known about her earlier. As an extra note, she has several types of beautiful young parrots that she hand tames. African grays, Conyers, Amazon's, babies, too! She has all of the right kinds of foods, I believe that most of them are hand mixed by her. Will definitely go to her first when looking for another bird.
