Teske Pet & Garden

Teskes is such a fantastic place and has been a go-to for my family every single year! Their starter plants are always in great shape—healthy and ready to thrive in our garden. I trust them for all my plant supplies, and they never disappoint. But what truly makes Teskes special is the experience. My kids are always so excited to come along and check out the puppies, bunnies, kitties, fish, snakes, and lizards that are for sale. It’s become such a fun tradition for us—it’s more than just a shopping trip; it’s a family outing. Whether you’re looking for high-quality plants or just want a welcoming place that makes you smile, Teskes is the spot. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

My first time going was today and it was a lovely experience. The store on the inside itself I not huge. I loved that they had some pets to purchase including bunnies and puppies. That made me really happy. They had some good deals on dog treats but not a huge selection overall. The staff were very helpful though. They had a very large garden selection, and staff were also helpful answering my questions regarding plant types. When I am back in the area I will be back!

The staff is knowledgeable and eager to help. They're a bit more expensive than the box stores but the plants here are MUCH better taken care of and it shows! I'll pay more for a healthy plant anytime! We also buy our birdseed here too. It's a really good nursery.

Staff: The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Want a pet, need to know about it, the staff knows! Building: building is spacious and very well taken care of. The bathrooms are clean. Products: All of the products are pet/farm/yard related and reasonably priced. A lot of seasonal stuff as well. They currently have pumpkins!!! Parking: plenty of parking. Star rating: 5 because of the Staff. We picked up our hand fed parakeet Tippy. She came home healthy, and after a while, was acting weird. No vet in the area could see her so we rushed her over to Teskes. A few of the worker did their magic and saved her. She is now 2 years old and super healthy! Havent really had any issues other rats getting mixed up. Went to buy a male rat came to find out someone put a female in the males cage so i bought another female but the female is pregnant. ( kinda what we wanted any ways so it was a win win in my case. ) hopefully she gives me a male so i can use the male to breed with my other female i had before this one.
