5 Stars for an order I didn’t even receive yet! Unfortunately, a porch pirate snagged my Hydros gear after it was delivered. With a photo of it on my porch. They still went wayyy above and beyond by re-shipping the order (With a signature required) for me at no additional cost. A similar thing happened not long ago with another big ticket item that I purchased from S. W. A. D. C. and although they were empathetic to the situation, they told me I’m S.O.L. I’ll be ordering from Fish Tanks Direct from now on.

I'm so glad I bought my new tank from Fish Tank Direct! They were SUPER helpful dealing with a shipping company issue. This issue had nothing to do with Fish Tank Direct or the tank manufacturer (Pro Clear) . I've also have been ordering all my equipment needed for this new tank from Fish Tank Direct as their prices are generally better than the big aquarium stores. Top notch. A++. I highly recommend Fish Tank Direct.

I Ordered a wet/DRY system after one month, the seams started to come apart pro clear sent me a new 1. Where my problem came in is in order to install it has to go through the back of the stand. Just like the majority of all stans. Which means I have to catch my fish. Store them somewhere, remove decor rocks etc and then find a place to hold 120 gallons of water. Or hire a company to do it for me. So I reached back out to them to see if they'd have any insight or be able to help. John the suppose of owner has obviously never heard of something called customer service. His attitude was I sent you a replacement that's good enough. John kept telling me how I was wrong and I assembled my setup wrong and that I should just cut a hole in the side of my stand so I can get it out. As I told john, I'm pretty sure the manufacturer of the stand will no longer warrant the stand if I cut a hole in it. As I told john, you sold me a product that malfunctioned the manufacturer replaced the product now. Are you going to help me with the problems that the malfunction caused Or do I need to call the manufacturer. John didn't offer any solutions or help, not even suggestions, just continued to tell me how I as the customer am wrong. Pro clear customer service on the other hand 900% not john! Minimal questions asked lots of suggestions ideas. At the end of our call, they decided to send a technician out to help fix the situation. To end it Jonh is wonderful words that I will not type so and definitely needs help with customer relations. I was not looking for a handout or for him to even pay for the problems it has caused. I was looking for an owner who backed and took responsibility for a product he sold. Like pro clear what is doing.

What a breath of fresh air! With all of the "bigger" places out there and customer service going by the way side, it's refreshing to see that John and his team are not letting that hinder the way they do business. This was my first purchase, so I was a little skeptical. That all went away as the day after placing my order, I got a phone call going over what to expect with shipping of my new tank and supplies. I then got a follow-up call to go over the details one more time! Everything arrived lighting fast, well packaged and with zero issues. I've already placed another order!
