This is a great spot for all your aquarium keeping needs! They have a beautiful selection of fish—both freshwater and saltwater. It was amazing to see this gorgeous arowana and these sharks.

The team at Fish Den in Denver are smart, fun, patient people, and their store is truly fantastic. It promotes a judgment-free atmosphere where their passion for their work shines through. You can bring in water samples and share about your fish's passing (May Salt R.I.P) along with any problems you're experiencing, and they'll be ready to assist you. Today, they dedicated an entire hour to teach my kids about taking care of their tank and which fish can coexist. They patiently answered all their questions and even encouraged the kids to call if they forget anything or need further assistance once they get home! This was our third visit, and we genuinely love spending time there. Plus, I had the chance to relax and enjoy the store as well.

I love this place and its owner. I love buying fish here, I never have problems with my fish being sick and dying unlike petco or pet smart where I always see dead fish constantly.

The Fish Den is my go-to for aquarium fish and supplies. They have a great selection of healthy, vibrant fish and a variety of tanks and equipment. The staff knows their stuff and is always helpful with advice on care and setup. Prices are fair, and the fish are well cared for. I’ve been to several local stores, and The Fish Den stands out for quality and customer service. If you’re into aquariums, this is a solid place to shop.

This store is now my one-stop shop for fish, snails and supplies. The first thing I saw as I was parking that made me feel almost welcomed before even walking in were all the window stickers and signs for top recommended brands for aquarium supplies such as Seachem, Fluval, Aqueon and others. They're a decently large location that's very well stocked, the tanks are beautiful and very clean, the fish and snails appear to be quite healthy. This shop is an absolute gem for anyone who is an established aquarist or a beginner looking to get into the hobby of fish- and/or snail-keeping. They've been in business for almost 50 years, and I sincerely hope they make it another 50 and more. They're fantastic. As far as I'm concerned, any negative reviews are either from this business's competitors, or from people who may be posting a review that was intended for a different store because I'm not new to the hobby and have been in other fish shops. Additionally, if someone takes home a fish --from any store and it dies, was it acclimated properly before putting it in the permanent tank? Was the perm. tank even properly cycled? etc etc. so, there you have it. This store is terrific. End of story.
