She never asked for a receipt first, she never asked if I paid for it, she automatically jumped to the assumptions i didn't pay. Upon entering, I was asked for the security to stow my scooter in the corner, which I did, i than proceeded to find my items (Tennis ball, bone)and made my way to the register. I paid cash. I denied the receipt because the exit was twenty feet away and my scooter was the same distance. Also I knew if there were any issues, the employee at the register and the security guard watching would verify.I paid. I've never felt so humiliated and out of place before solely based on how I look.”
