“The store is pretty, the stock is impressive as a salt and freshwater keeper, and the staff are nice. However, the two times I’ve gone I’ve been sold something wrong. The first time I was looking for a small tank light, I bought the one they recommended, and only after I took it home I realized it was blue spectrum only. I was able to return the light for store credit and I bought some amano shrimp with the credit, but after taking them home I’m 90% sure they are actually wildtype neocaridina shrimp, aka the “culls”. Frustrating, as they are worth much less, they won’t eat the hair algae that I wanted amanos for, and they’ll interbreed with my existing neocaridina and muddy the color of their offspring.”
