The Love Aquarium

Really one of the best Well kept aquariums I have seen in San Diego. Staff is kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. My kids love getting their plants and fish here for their aquarium. Definitely see why people come here. Highly recommend.

First time in the yesterday. Starting up a freshwater 55 gallon community tank and needed some help/advice and Jake was patient and answered all our rookie questions. Bought a few things but he advised against getting fish in it until it cycles at least one time even though my wife and kids were really wanting to fill and put fish in. Good service, prices and selection. This will be my go to shop for all things aquarium.

I am so grateful for this store. Doug (the owner), Ethan and the rest of the staff have been so helpful while I start my fishkeeping journey. They have patiently answered all my questions, advised me on compatible fish and water cycles and made recommendations based on my tank size and skill level. Their fish are healthy and the selection of aquarium plants and natural decor is wonderful. 10/10

Really cool place if you are into aquariums and fish! ALL KINDS of FISH! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. They helped us set up a healthy aquarium. We are definitely going back for all of our aquarium needs!

When I need fish The Love Aquarium is my first spot. They have a great mixed selection of fresh and salt water fish/corals. If you like to “aquascape” they have a cool setup to get play around with the decor to get the look you want. Great prices on tanks and supplies. Staff is friendly and patient as my son loves to look at every tank so we are never quick, they come back and check on us which is much appreciated. my son is very keen on cleanliness and he always compliments them on how cared for and neat the tanks are. I wish you guys had a shop in Oceanside…but I’ll make the trip (45 min) to see you every time we are in need of fish. Thanks to Doug and his crew🤙🏽
