Harry's Marine Life Burbank is the San Fernando Valley outpost of the beloved Harry's Marine in Gardena, and it's quickly becoming a destination for SoCal reefers who don't want to make the long drive south. Tucked into an unassuming Burbank storefront right off the 5 and 134 freeways, the shop doesn't look like much from the outside — but step through the door and you'll find a clean, spacious space packed with healthy saltwater fish, corals, and invertebrates at prices that reviewers consistently call unbeatable. The coral selection is strong and growing, with frags of Duncan, octospawn, and frogspawn at prices well below what you'd find at competing shops across the San Fernando and San Gabriel Valleys.
Hermit crabs go for under a dollar. Five gallons of premixed saltwater runs just four bucks. Livestock ranges from cinnamon clownfish and hawkfish to blue throat triggers, wrasses, and the occasional showstopper like a Black tang.
A freshwater section is also in development, expanding the store's appeal beyond the reef community. Staff members David and AJ are the heart of the operation, and their names come up in nearly every review. David in particular has a reputation for moving fast — if something isn't in stock, he'll source it quickly.
He's also known for offering deals that customers say are hard to walk away from. The vibe is personal and welcoming, more like visiting a friend's fish room than browsing a retail shop. You might even meet Apple, the store's French Bulldog mascot.
Beyond retail, Harry's also handles tank maintenance for local clients, and the results reportedly speak for themselves. The dry goods section covers the essentials, and staff are happy to walk newcomers through setting up their first tank. For anyone in the greater Los Angeles area building or maintaining a reef tank, Harry's Burbank delivers the same quality and pricing that made the Gardena warehouse a local institution — just a lot closer to home.

Was visiting the area and came in to look for the first time and came out with a blue throat trigger and a wrasse. I believe the guys name was mark I can be wrong but he said he was new. He answered all my questions fed the fish so I can see they are eating. Very good service and really good prices, honestly probably the best I’ve seen around. Will be returning back for sure

Friendly staffs ~ Grace, David and there's another guy there today. I also met their mascot Apple the frenchie. They have the best price when it comes to saltwater fishes and corals. Unbeatable prices compared to Vivid Aquariums, Art's Underwater Reef, Petco and other stores in the San Fernando Valley or San Gabriel Valley. Hermit crabs are .99 cents each. 5 gallon of saltwater is only $4. Duncans are only $25. So far I got octo, 2 frogspawn, hawkfish and cinnamon clownfish. If you're lucky, you might meet Apple the frenchie.

I had a great customer service. I'm starting a new tank and they helped me out. Very friendly and makes you feel like your part of the family. I can't wait to come back and get some fishes and corals. It doesn't look like a traditional store from the outside, so don't be fooled and leave. Just go in and let them help you out. One of the best places for salt water fishes
