Kona Reef Az - Surprise

I've been going here for a while now. I really love this store. They have everything you need for fresh and saltwater. I've gotten a lot of my fish and corals from here. And a decent amount of equipment. Logan, Stephanie, and Chad are awesome. Very knowledgeable staff and just an all around awesome store! This is my tank for reference of things you can get at Kona Reef Surprise

My family and I checked out the Surprise location for the first time about a month ago. We were assisted by Stephanie who was more than happy to answer questions about aquatic plants and their care. The shop and tanks are well maintained. The fish look healthy, plus there wasn't a bunch of dead fish like certain big pet retailers usually have. Today we returned to get a betta for our 5.5 gallon tank. I love that they are kept in community tanks and not tiny cups! We were assisted by Stephanie again and she was patient while our 12 year old picked one out. She was helpful explaining what we needed to do when we got home. We left with some pearl weed and 2 cherry shrimp along with this guy who is doing awesome. We will be back again probably to set up a bigger tank lol.

I loved it here, the employees were friendly but also knew what they were talking about. I've been keeping fish my entire life and I still learned new things. I will never go to another store for fish again. The two fish I got are healthy and settling into their tank well. No dead or unhealthy fish that I saw. They also had exotic fish that I had never seen.
