Petland Janesville

Came in Thursday around 7pm. The staff there were super nice and helpful! Kudos to them! The quality of products were excellent for reptiles compared to all the other petstores in the area. Will be my new go to. Thanks!

If I could give Sam at Petland in Janesville 10 stars, I would! She is an absolute gem, and thanks to her, my daughter and I found the newest (and fluffiest!) member of our family – our golden retriever puppy, Leonidas, or Leo for short. From the moment we walked into Petland, Sam welcomed us with such warmth and genuine enthusiasm, like she was just as excited as we were about our puppy journey. She took the time to understand what we were looking for in a companion, asked thoughtful questions about our lifestyle and family dynamics, and provided insights on what to expect from a golden retriever. It was clear she wasn’t just interested in “selling” us a dog – she was invested in making sure we found the perfect match for our family. When we met Leo, it was love at first sight, and Sam made the entire adoption process feel seamless and special. She shared tips on puppy care, nutrition, and training, ensuring we felt prepared and confident to bring our little Leo home. She even followed up to check how he was adjusting, which truly touched our hearts. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate guide in your pet journey, Sam at Petland is the person to see. Thanks to her, we have a beautiful, bouncing ball of joy in our lives, and we couldn’t be happier!

The staff was helpful and attentive. Took extra long to purchase our dog due to the one computer they have to do adoptions wasn't working for the person in front of us. Also disappointed they don't groom the dog at purchase or offer a complimentary grooming at a later date. Given the price you pay I would expect a well kept pup. Our dog was in desperate need of a bath, haircut and nail trim/buff.

I went in looking for something for my dog but ended up playing with multiple puppies! The staff were great—very knowledgeable about the pups and encouraged us to interact with them so they could get a break from the kennels. It’s a fun store with a friendly atmosphere. If I decide to get a puppy, I would definitely consider coming here!

Lol my hometown is not too far away, I have not lived in WI in over 20 years and every time I come home I take a drive here because I have been wanting a puppy for years. I always come in and bring my mom with me. This time I feel closer to getting one considering I've temporarily moved back. I'd always just look and admire but this time I asked to hold one because they had a Irish doodle that I only see online and have tons of pictures of so I had to hold it. A little pricey for me but they do have financing available and you could walk out not paying anything if approved. Highly suggested. Very clean establishment
