Azalea Aquariums

Azalea Aquariums has been a great place to get my fish locally. I've bought several species from them. I once got the wrong fish (a miscommunication between myself and the associate), and they exchanged them for the correct ones without question. I will definitely be coming back to stock my 125 gallon!

I'm new to Virginia and needed to find my "go-to fish store" for fresh water fish. I visited 3 places and this one was by far the best. Huge selection, fair prices and the fish all looked healthy. Also, the staff were professional and acknowledged me. I bought enough items to get my tank cycled and up & running. Now I'll head back this weekend to pick out my new fish. It's a bit of drive for me but well worth it. This will be the only store I use.

Wow just wow! They had beautiful tanks that were well maintained. I visited multiple fish stores today and these were by far the absolute best. Nick helped me and answered all my questions and showed me their live food set up as well as very patient. I never felt rushed or like I was being “sold” anything I didn’t want. Best experience ever. Will definitely be going back. Amazing store with amazing staff.

We were welcomed to a tidy store and treated so nice! First time shoppers here today. I think there were at least 3 people working who were caring for the fish but also quick to ask if we had any questions or needed their help. We purchased three platys and noticed that they selected two females and one male (very nice attention to detail). At the checkout they mentioned their fish guarantee and they were sure to ask how long our ride home was (I think they do that so they know to add air/oxygen to the bag for fish to stay comfy for longer transports). Excellent experience. We'll be back for more
