Salty Fish Aquariums

This is hands down the best place to go to for your aquarium needs. They offer fresh water and salt water fish, aquariums, and accessories. They also have mud skippers. They have helped me get my tank back in order so much, and I can't be any happier. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable.

Fantastic store that is clean, stocked and very knowledgeable staff. we have been to about every aquatics store in San Antonio and these guys set the bar, and it's high! I can't think of any store that is so stocked with South and Central American Cichlids. The plant selection is even better! we ended up getting a 210 Gallon Tank and Stand all shipped and ready for pickup within 3 days. Riley, you're a rock star I appreciate you teaching me about sumps, calling me daily with updates and helping me load the tank and stand. We probably only have a few years left here being Military, but we will be taking advantage of the time to shop with y'all.

I absolutely love this place. It's your one-stop shop for everything Aquarium. The staff is awesome and knowledgeable. Shout out to my man Nathan for always hooking me up with all the stuff I need to make my aquarium awesome. Don't let the name fool you, they got fresh water stuff as well. They have a continuously updated inventory from around the world. They have amazing corals. They do custom tanks. They have just about everything you could possibly need for your fish and even your reptiles. Awesome spot

This was an unbelievable stop for us today. We've been trying to figure out how to get our freshwater aquarium started. It's had water cycling for over a month but I needed help with the next steps. We got the best help from Nathan. I feel so confident of our success with the plants, snail, and betta that we got here. A delightful experience!

This was my first time at Salty Fish and I’m already planning to make it my go-to from now on. My husband has been here before, but I usually go to another local fish/pet store we’ve used for years. That said, the difference in service and knowledge here was huge. At Salty Fish, everyone we talked to was genuinely knowledgeable — no guesswork, no conflicting advice. Lauren helped us today and was amazing! She made sure we had everything we needed for my betta fish, answered all our questions with confidence, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. It’s so refreshing to walk into a store and feel like you’re getting solid, trustworthy information. Highly recommend!
