Reklaw Reef

Jeff and I highly recommend Reklaw Reef. We have a salt water aquarium we have been struggling with for years. We had used another company to set up my salt water aquarium and set up for them to do the monthly maintenance. Our aquarium never flourished. I couldn’t keep my coral alive. I was referred to James by my nephew. We decided to give him a try. We figured this would be my last attempt and if it didn’t work out we would get rid of the aquarium. James and his wife have been out twice and my husband and I are blown away. Our aquarium is so beautiful we had James relocate it to our living room! James has educated us and automated our aquarium so we can just sit back and enjoy watching our fish. If you are about to give up or if you are new to the saltwater aquarium hobby don’t walk run to the phone and get James to help you. We have no regrets. He is going to add live rock and coral and finish fully automating our tank. We can’t wait to watch our lil Reef grow. Photos are before and after.

James provided exceptional service moving a tank I bought. Before I purchased the setup, he talked me through all the specifics of owning a saltwater tank. He moved the tank with live fish and coral to the 5th floor of my office with no issues and quickly. Plus he is very professional. Highly recommended.

James has amazing customer service and knowledge! We contacted him, wanting to start with something small for our toddler to enjoy. He put together the perfect set up for us! Took the time to explain everything to us, met us on a weekend and even answered evening weekend phone calls! Highly recommend!!!

I am completely new to saltwater/ reefing but after dealing with James and Reklaw reef, I feel like I could take on any size tank. Super knowledgeable, very welcoming, and personal experience from James. I wish I would’ve given this shop a chance a long time ago! You do have to make an appointment or reach out to visit the store but it is 100% worth the extra step, then to go and walk in any other store. Reklaw offers a complete one stop shop catered with any questions you have with all the answers. On top of the upfront personal shopping experience, the pricing is the best I’ve seen compared to all the other surrounding stores in San Antonio, with the most quality and care taken for all the live stock. I hope this is able to make anyone on the fence about going to make that step and call!

James was absolutely great to work with. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in getting my tank and starting it. I can’t wait for it to finish cycling so I can go back and do more business with Reklaw Reef.
