Petworld ~ The Aquatic Place

he was so much help when my fish tank was going threw a cycle and it killed all my goldfish. he suggested a product called t700 bacteria, which fixed the problem in 6 days. I then went back to his store so he could do a water test which came back great and he sold me the most beautiful goldfish for my tank at a great price. I also purchased lots of my plants from him, his plants have made my tank beautiful. My husband and I will most definitely be using his store and product moving forward, he is very knowledgeable as well.

I had an incredible experience at Petworld today! I had purchased an OB Peacock from another store, but they bagged it improperly, no oxygen and the wrong size bag. By the time I got to Petworld, my fish was struggling and laying sideways. Thankfully, the owner knew exactly what to do and acted fast to save it. While I was there, I also noticed their impressive selection of freshwater fish. All healthy, vibrant, and clearly better quality than what you see at most nearby fish shops. Petworld truly stands out!

After being to more than 5 fish stores around Fort Worth area, Petworld Aquatics is by far the best place I have been when it comes to plants and rocks for aquariums or terrariums. They have more than 10 varieties of rocks to suit creativity. (And a handsome collection of Driftwoods) Daran, hands down was very professional, and friendly to anyone who came through his store. While shopping with my 2 yr old, it caught my attention how he entertained and educated ALL of his customers and addressed their questions or concerns without any judgment on their level of knowledge regarding aquarium requirements and fish paremeters. This was a real thumbs up for me considering how many fish store owners ignore or quick to dismiss non-experienced fishkeepers. His assistant Gwen was very patient with me and constantly acknowledged my 2 yr old as I carefully try to decide what aquatic plants to get. Daran wrapped my groups of rocks himself and packaged it in a box and helped drop it off on my car! I couldn’t thank him more than enough for this such great experience and I pray they continue to do what they do best. I most definitely recommend this store to everyone who needs anything for freshwater aquariums including maintenance. Can’t wait to visit this place again in the future.

Enjoyed my visit there. The man working there (assuming it was the owner) was extremely helpful and eager to converse with. The fish selection isn’t the most extensive, however the tanks were well maintained. I’ll definitely be keeping in touch with the store. Update 7/27: wasn’t aware that the owner had been out of town on vacation so hence why the stock was low. Went in today and the selection is much more extensive! Update 10/17: I’ve purchased 6 orandas from Darren and they’ve all grown well and have been healthy. I’ll continue to frequent Petworld!

Great store to visit, everyone is very friendly! The fish are so attentive and have personalities, they’re really friendly! I went in looking for a snail to accompany my beta in his aquarium and the gentleman at the front was so sweet in helping me. Thank you again!
