New look it’s like a new store, it’s a totally different place now. Much brighter and happier, healthier looking fish . We stopped by today and saw these gorgeous apistos and kilis

This used to be an amazing locally owned business, but it was bought and renovated by a large company. Don’t let the pretty interior fool you. There is hardly any selection of fish. Almost all of the fish we have bought here either come with a disease, or die within a few days of being purchased.(Recently, I bought about 80 bucks worth of fish at this location and they had ICH and it destroyed my whole tank. They offered no compensation.) They don’t guarantee their fish if they die!(I’ve had my water quality tested again and again, and it’s been stable every single time, so my tank isn’t the problem. )The customer service leaves much to be desired. The prices are outrageous, especially for fish that die instantly. We’ve wasted enough money here, and we won’t be coming back. And I recommend you don’t fall into the same trap.

I bought 2 blue green chrom fish to add to my 180g display and one came in with velvet. Was told the fish was good and that it was treated with copper, but what I didn’t ask was how long was the process. Red velvet ended up killing off my blue hippo that I had since was small, and my flame angle fish.If looking to buy saltwater fish from this location, or I would prolly say even the Addison location look else where. I learned my lesson not to trust local fish stores anymore, I will be ordering online from now on. The price you pay for some fish you might as well order online and not be lied to about QT. The response I received from store was not what I expected either other losing 300 plus worth of my pets. “Angle” and “Rosa” 😔

Awesome selection of aquariums and some really beautiful fish both fresh and saltwater. All fish seem well taken care of. Will be back

I purchased a mystery snail from this location. The snail is bigger, and not active like I expected. I have purchased several from Petco and they are smaller, but thriving in each tank. I called and spoke to a young gentleman regarding the issue with the snail and he told me to bring it in and he’d exchange it. When I arrived, they were wanting to blame everything on my tank water, which they tested, and didn’t want to exchange the snail and give me a younger, more active snail. Although I told them that the snail was very slow and just moving from time to time, exactly like the snails that are currently in the store tanks, they didn’t want to honor the verbal agreement to exchange the snail. They younger employees tend to talk and want to be right, rather than listen. Petco and PetSmart has always been amazing at educating customers regarding care for whatever is purchased. I was educated on how to fix the water hardness after explaining my tank issue to a PetSmart employee. The fish are happy and thriving. After today, I’ll spend my money where there is an absolute guarantee that they’ll replace my purchase within the first 30 days, if the purchase isn’t thriving or dies, and where the employees educate the customers. Take pointers from the bigger chain stores, educate customers instead of wanting to prove a point. I have several tanks and would have been a valuable customer.
