Tri-Star Koi (By Appointment)

Cannot express enough how happy that we found Tri-star Koi! It was really easy to set-up an appointment with Marlon. The drive from Nashville area was beautiful. We were amazed with the variety and quality of Japanese import koi! Marlon the owner was great to talk to. He is very knowledgeable about how to keep koi especially in the TN climate. My sons totally enjoyed chatting with him.The prices are very reasonable for such quality and experience especially when you make the drive out there. Was worth the drive for sure. And was the best koi buying experience! Will definitely be back.

Look, everyone has said more than enough great things in support of Marlon and his company Tri-Star Koi. Allow me to not only add to that BUT ALSO help explain the amazing work being done here for anyone on the fence about ordering online, or taking the time to go see him and his store. I am a industry guy. I work in and have worked in the industry for many years. While working in this industry I have become an expert in many things...Yet while working with Marlon I almost felt like a koi novice. The passion he has and care he takes sets him above many companies country or even world wide. I have seen very few places take fish care and health more seriously. This places quarantine procedures dwarf that of almost any I have ever worked with or purchased from. Marlon works tirelessly and vigilantly with his fish. It however doesn't just end there, he has EXCEPTIONAL knowledge on koi development. If you're a serious collector in the hobby... you will WANT to work with this guy. He is the kind of eye that can help you look beyond the fish he has now to help you see and understand what that fish will become years from now. He is the guy you want choosing your fish FOR you. Then if the healthiest and nicest fish aren't all you needed to hear lets bring it all back to Marlon himself. A good honest, hard working, and friendly guy. He met with me after hours. Worked with me well into the night and did not once expect me to get anything or leave by any time. He does this because he WANTS to. This is a part of him not just his job. From refreshments, to a tour, to chitchatting, it just felt like I was hanging out with an old friend talking koi. Please if you haven't given him a chance yet, DO. My biggest take away from a trip to Tri-Star Koi is the fact that I waited too long to go up there! Lastly on the book I have typed. Thank you Marlon. You have earned my respect, trust, and continued business. I hope this business not only continues to grow but one day becomes vastly more than you ever dreamed of.

I went here looking for my first Koi fish and had a great experience working with the owner Marlon! He took the time to give me a tour and thoroughly answered all my questions. It is refreshing to see someone who is trying to educate and not take advantage. Highly Recommend!

My experience working with Tri Star Koi was fantastic. Marlon, who I worked with mostly, had a tremendous amount of knowledge about the origin of the fish he had on hand, and was extremely professional in getting my order shipped to me quickly and safely.
