Pets Plus - Quakertown

Amazing store with a large staff that's very friendly. The selection of fish is astounding and the man running the area really knows his stuff. As for mammals, if you like dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, or hamsters, they're constantly available with a high adopt rate. I come in here frequently and it feels like I see new animals every time (a really good thing!) Last month, we adopted a ferret from here that the staff lovingly named Slinky (On the right in the photo), and due to their handling, he is the sweetest boy. He really likes being held and giving little licks all over our faces. Will be coming back here with him and his brother really soon to visit :)

The cages were absolutely filthy with poop everywhere we took a dog out to play with and it was so sad he was filthy and had poop and pee all over him please do better for these puppies the air was completely off I was sweating in this place I could only imagine how hot these dogs were back there ! Please clean more and get these dogs and cats some air

About 4 or 5 years ago I left this business a bad review due to the absolute abysmal condition of the live fish they were selling. The saltwater fish were in particularly sad condition. I went back in today and they have definitely stepped up their game, which was very nice to see. They had an absolutely lovely little maroon clown that if I had a tank for it, would have purchased in a heartbeat. Beyond that the store has always had a good selection of dog products and fish supplies/food. Very happy to see they are working on their live fish section because we don't have a lot of good fish stores to choose from and they could be a real leader in this department for the area.

Everyone was helpful. Considering pets are in and out all day it was as clean as I would think it could be. We adopted a 4 month old puppy and he gets along great with our other dogs. Overall I would say it was a great experience.
