World of Wet Pets

We enjoyed our visit there. They have a nice variety of fish, both saltwater and fresh. The tanks are clean and the fish are healthy. The display tanks are impressive, and i was honestly amazed that it wasn't extremely humid from all the tanks, especially this time of year. Parking was available and staff was friendly. I especially liked how they label the tanks to let people know which fish tend to be more aggressive and i even learned a tip for integrating new fish into established tanks. Very helpful!

One of 2 places i go to in Portland for fish and aquascaping. Staff is great, selection of exotic fish and plants is amazing. World of Wet Pets has helped me create amazing cichlid, Congo River setups.

This is my go to for salt water aquariums. The team are very low key and knowledgeable. They have saltwater and fresh and are very helpful. They also have an interesting assortment of critters I find some rarities here. I bought my speckled snowflake Moray eel from here. Named him Uchan the Utsubo, along with dozens of other critters and corals. Great healthy animals and a great team.

There are always plenty of employees to ask for help. They test your water (no restricted hours like Petco). The Betas they have are in tanks (not plastic cups which I find incredibly depressing). There are lots of freshwater and saltwater fish (snails, shrimps, bottom feeders and frogs too) to choose from. There are also several live plants, driftwood, rocks, fake plants, and decorations to choose from to enhance your tank. I highly recommend.

As someone that is relatively new to the fish keeping hobby, I greatly appreciated the friendly and welcoming employee (I unfortunately didn’t catch his name) that helped us navigate the store. He was very insightful and made sure to guide us in the right direction when choosing fish for our tank. So far the best experience i’ve had in an aquarium store :)
