Fancy Fish and Aquascapes

We were gifted a 40-gallon tank from a friend and had no idea where to start. We were greeted by the owner and explained our situation. A wealth of knowledge and the kind/friendly conversation was a breath of fresh air in a world so worried about upselling. Very honest and we were able to walk out with fish for our new tank! This wasn't expected as we were told by others that we needed to cycle before adding fish, but we were assured that fish in cycling was completely acceptable. We got everything we needed for our build, except for the tank! We will definitely be back after our tank has fully cycled to stock up on more fish since everything is striving after 3 full days!

We came from Salem to check this place out and we will gladly now drive the hour to visit because IT WAS SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. there was plenty of plants rocks and wood to choose from. Great prices aswell and they even had sweet little habitats for the beta which made me happy knowing they respected their fish 🐠 . You guys were so pleasant to talk to and gave us so much information. I loved the little " shrimp kit set up" idea that was smart. You guys made it easy for us to show and decorate our tank and get an idea of what worked. We could sit with you guys all day I swear it was such a wonderful atmosphere and the shop smelled and looked great . We will see you guys soon !!!! The place to go for aquarium needs. Competitive prices and beautiful fish!!! Fish are John’s passion and it shows! He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He helped me understand how to start a tank, the best fish for beginners, and the best practices to keep my fish healthy. He also told me how he breeds some of his own fish, and quarantines others when purchased, to ensure healthy and vibrant fish. He really cares about the fish, and that translates to a great experience for his customers!

Owner John is a wealth of knowledge on fish and plants, and gladly answered all of our questions. Store has a great selection and it's fun deciding how to build your tank. We had a blast here, and will be back!

Bought some Zebra fish and fancy guppies and they are wonderful. Excellent knowledge, service and the store stock is clean, clearly well cared for, healthy etc. I will be back. Even the price points rival the valley. Two thumbs up.
