I love coming to this location so much! I am always finding myself coming here for any animal need. The employees are the kindest people alive and always help me find my products with no hesitation. If they can't find something they will search for you and try to find someone that does know where it is. But they also don't hover around asking constantly what you need. They somehow always find the perfect balance to be available but not overbearing. And don't get me started on their care for these animals. They absolutely adore them as if they are their own and talk highly of them as if they are. Everyone there has some level of experience with every animal they sell and will walk you step by step through what you need to start out and tell you what you need for the animal straight up. The employees at this location are always so considerate of the customers and their needs. They also always carry my cat litter and dog food out to my car for me. They go above and beyond for their customers and their animals. I always find it so amazing how they recognize regulars dogs and remember their names. I'm sure they see so many but somehow they are so diligent to remember as many people and pets as possible. I will be coming back for many more years. I love this place! I get my food here for my reptiles and all the animals there are well taken care of and healthy, which is nice to see! Everyone there is very sweet and knowledgeable! If I have any questions they are happy to help! I've been coming here for years and many more!

I have been to this location many times. I even got one of my current pets from here. Every time I have been there the workers are incredibly helpful and sweet. They always answer my questions no matter how small. I always come here for my pet restocks and I cannot recommend it enough. 10/10

My son has been wanting fish for a few years now. Today we were so excited to make that happen. We went to PetSmart and the woman helping with the fish was so rude, discouraging us to not get a fish. My son broke down and cried because has been wanting fish for so long. We have always had great service at Pet Supplies Plus on Portage and we should of gone there first! So, I dried my sons tears up and said let's go there. Best decision we could of EVER made! We were greeted promptly by Logan he took so much time helping us make all the right decisions and purchases since we are new fish owners. Logan also ensured to help check us out at the register so we didn't miss anything, then helped us take the new fish tank, and all the supplies to our car. We got home and got everything set up for our new fish in no time due to the training he gave us at the store. We couldn't be more grateful for him and that store. Thank you Logan for making my son have the Best day ever! Flynn and Finny the Chiclid Fish are happy too!!

I had an amazing experience here !! The workers are extremely friendly and helpful, and the animals are very well cared for:) I highly recommend coming here for any need. The people you see who have left multiple one star reviews, are angry because they got a snake that declined in weight and did end up passing away sadly. However this could have been prevented if they had noticed sooner and brought the animal to a vet to be checked and treated. The reptiles here are all tong fed individually and are never put back without eating. And no snake is left on the floor if it is sick, if they are it is caught quickly because every animal is checked daily for any sickness, disease, or physical defects. ESPECIALLY THE REPTILES. There is no possible way a snake would have been sold if it was underweight or sick, because that is morally wrong and more importantly against company policy.
