Pet Supplies Plus Lakewood

I’ve been trying to find a place to get my dog groomed after having a couple poor experiences at a previous pet store that left my dog traumatized. I have a goldendoodle who I know isn’t the easiest to groom either. I went to Mark for the first time here at pet supplies, who kept his promise of only taking two hours to groom him (the other place had him for 4+) so I was extremely happy about this, as I’m sure my dog was too. Mark did a fantastic job on the cut as well, and when I picked up Bentley he seemed completely calm and happy. I will be coming here again! Thank you for taking care of him!

I’ve been going to this location for years and up until today, I’ve never had complaints. However, I was taken by surprise when the new “assistant manager” Joe flat out refused to give us the family/friend discount weve always use as we personally know/lived with an associate there & do rescue. If that wasn’t already something that caught us off guard, then he gets more weird questioning/kinda giving us an attitude for picking up donations for the rescue we work with and trying to make us pay for the donations…..Ive legit never seen this new guy in here and the first impression was less than ideal. I’d suggest some sensitivity training would be in the best interest for the store cause if it wasn’t for the fact that I absolutely needed what I was buying & already had the harnesses on the foster pups with us, I legit would have put everything back and walked out just by that interaction.

I bring my dog, Tito, there to get his nails trimmed. I was there on Monday, June 16. Mark took Tito right away. He even brought Tito back out in the store for me. He also gave Tito the cutest bandana. Thank you Mark. Tito will see you in a few weeks.

I HATE that i'm writing a bad review but I think its necessary. I took my 4.5 month old pup there for a quick wash and cut. The staff seemed so nice at first. They told me to comeback in an hour and a half. I did and she wasn't on the table yet. Keep in mind, she's a pup who's never been in a situation like this. I come back and they say 20 more mins. Ok great, no problem. Then I get a text that she's done and I think the pics speak for themselves, I paid for a bath. The first pic are "AFTER" with the 2nd pic being before. Again, I know she got a bath but to say she's been cut would be a lie. I feel robbed. The employee admitted they did NOT give her a cut because she wasn't well behaved and the manager Brandon refused any sort of refund. Theft of service! UPDATE: Manager Brandon hung up on me so I went back to the store he refused to tell me who the District Manager is. Great customer service.

The reason I shop here is because of Megan, Jaquez and Tyler. Awesome people who are dedicated to their jobs and always make my day! Keep doing what your doing! Thankyou for caring for all the animals with pure compassion!
