I took my dog a miniature poodle mix Sammy to the groomer yesterday. I believe her name is Taylor? The Groomer. At pet supplies plus Hartville Ohio. I have been grooming there for 2-3 years every 3 months. I trusted her for a great groom with Sammy. I go to the back grooming room and his tail was completely shaven and I was in shock! Looked like a rats tail? I said to the groomer you have never shaved his tail like that? She stated he was tangled bad. He was shaved buzzed down close from the neck down. My thoughts are If you’re going to shave my dog I need contacted before you shave and given the option to continue with the groom or not? I was never contacted. I was at the store the whole time or sitting in my car in front of the store a text away. I was told one price for the groom by the groomer. I go to the register and was charged more. I told the cashier a different lady I was unhappy about Sammy being shaved she told me it will grow back. She was pleasant but didn’t understand what I was saying about being over charged. I went out of the store I was very upset and came back to talk to the manager she treated me cold as ice and refunded me a small amount by then I was so upset and uncomfortable I never told the manager about how unhappy I was with the groom. I Told her when I left I will probably never be back . I was totally ignored and given the cold shoulder she wouldn’t even look me in the face. Horrible experience. My poor dog has been a Velcro dog since I came home. He is chewing on himself and digging. I left photos below. Keep in mind he is a very long haired pup naturally.

I made a same day appointment to have my dog's nails trimmed at 3pm. While checking in, the tech asked about vaccinations within the past 48 hours. I replied that they had vaccinations administed at 4pm at that location, on Sunday. They would not trim because it was 1 hour before the 48hrs was up.I asked if they could go ahead and do it, or if i came back at 3:30 or 4pm. She said they both leave at 4pm and couldnt make any exceptions to the 48 hour rule. Due to chronic health issues, it is difficult for me to get a driver and get out with my animals. I understand rules and compliance, however a little critical thinking and customer service would have been nice. I intend to take my 3 animal's business elsewhere.

I took my dog, Alex, to the store to pick out a new toy and some yummy treats. I had to put her sister down 2 days beforehand. The employee saw me in the aisle with my dog and walked up asking her name and started petting her. I told her why we were there. She told us how sorry she was that my other dog had to be euthanized and when I checked out there were two employees at the register. Both young ladies were fabulous. I will definitely be back.

I drive about 10 miles farther to use this store. Everyone is immediately helpful and very friendly. Lady agrees!
