Neat little non chain fish shop. Great selection of cichlids. Nice selection of plants and tanks and tank stuff. There's a seahorse too, but I didn't get a photo. Did get a very nice koi Betta placket for half of what the box store charges and a huge banana plant.

Great place! Fish all looked healthy and the guy was so very nice and knowledgeable and helpful. I have had my new fish a little over a week and he suggested some that would pair with my others and so far they all seem happy! (Even if they weren’t it wouldn’t be his fault but it was nice that he was knowledgeable enough to know what I can add to my other fish) No ick and no other problems so I am happy! Love that this store is local!! They have fresh and saltwater as well.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST..I LITERALLY CLAIM AS MY AQUARIUM FAMILY, THEY ARE MY FISH GRANDPARENTS..THEY HAVE GIVEN ME ALOT OF KNOWLEDGE AND ENJOYMENT AND EXCITEMENT WITH MY TANKS I LOVE THEM..ALL MY 7 TANKS.

One of the best stores around especially for beginners who are looking for some guidance ir recommendations on fish compatability like Cichlids. Highly recommend them.

This fish shop is full of everything you need if you’re into fish. Whether you’re establishing a new aquarium or you have several (like we do), this is the best place to get what you need. Recently, we had a parasitic outbreak that was making our fish very sick; in fact, we lost a couple of our larger tiger oscars from these parasites. The owner of this shop helped us and explained exactly what medicines we needed and how to treat our tanks with it, including one that had to be added into the food. She really took her time to make sure we understood everything, despite it being near closing time. She is so knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to deal with. She really knows her stuff. The medication worked perfectly, and all of our many fish are healthy again. I cannot say enough good about this shop. They even had a rescued fish that had a hole in its head from neglect that they rescued, and he was brought back to good health. They really care about sweet little aquatic creatures, and it shows. I highly recommend Rainy Day Fish. Don’t by shy if you have any questions- they are extremely knowledgeable here and will explain anything you may need help understanding.
