we were staying in cincinnati over the weekend, happened to walk into this location on sunday just to look considering we've been looking for a gray girl ferret for a little over a year now. we finally found her here! we weren't able to get her due to not having anywhere to keep her before heading back home on monday after the reds game, but we couldn't stop thinking about taking her home so i called to see if there was any way they could hold her for us and brittany said they could hold her for one day if i came to buy her, so we immediately went back in to buy her on monday before the game and i drove four hours today to go pick her up and she's already fit right into our business! meet echo 🐭🩷

Anyone that knows me knows my deep profound love of dogs and my obsession of corgi’s! So when I was contacted by an old friend about a Pembroke Welsh Corgi needing to be rehomed I honestly couldn’t turn that down. He was a Petland puppy (I didn’t know much of anything about Petland) I was given this dog for free and with a clean bill of health with no background on him. I was in heaven to say the least a dog I have wanted since I was 13 was mine and he was going to have a great loving home! Or so I thought. Less than 2 weeks after having him he because extremely lethargic had vomiting and diarrhea so we took him to an urgent care (my vets office is closed on Wednesdays) they did X-rays on his chest and bloodwork. Severe pneumonia as well as very high white blood cells. Was sent home with 5 meds and instructions on what to do. The very next day we took him to our vet and they agreed with his Plan of care from urgent care. Dexter was doing amazing we had our healthy thriving puppy back. Then the morning of the 27th of November Dexter woke up with vomiting and diarrhea shaking and couldn’t stand up. So back to urgent care for our boy again right at the two week mark. He still had some pneumonia and white blood cells was still elevated. So we was sent home with another round of Antibiotics. I reached out to the friend that contacted me from Petland to see if there was anything they could help with. I was told I had a 14 day warranty from the day I got him we signed the paperwork for Dexter on the 6th of November and the first time he ended up at the urgent care was November 13. We also had pet insurance on him so we submitted to the pet insurance they denied because They said it’s pre-existing condition and to contact Petland. At this point we have already spent close to $3200 on our sick puppy and still didn’t have many answers. Then 12/05/24 he woke up again extremely lethargic vomiting and diarrhea. I literally said here we go! After talking with our vet to make the difficult decision to put him down. I was reached out to by my friend and her regional director and they asked me if we could take him to their Vet that we use (my pets vet) so that’s what we did they said it would be covered and that I wouldn’t have to pay. So we took him and they hospitalized Dexter. 12/6/24 the “solutions” department from Petland called to inform me they was only going to cover her bill up to $1500 I said nope that’s not going to work he’s sick and to be honest he’s been sick the entire time I’ve had him. She made some calls and called me back at 430 (the office closes at 5 for the weekend) proceeded to inform me that they will pay for his visit up until 1 pm 12/7/24. The vet called to let me know in her professional opinion she said Dexter still needed to be hospitalized and she also informed me that Petland in fact gave me a sick dog ( I recorded the conversation) Dexter is extremely sick and Petland is refusing to take responsibility at all. I also looked the Breeder up and unfortunately they 100 bought Dexter from a known puppy mill. This entire situation has been extremely stressful, Difficult, heartbreaking, Traumatic and just downright wrong on so many levels. We still don’t have any answers and unfortunately we probably never will have answers due to we let them know that we are not bringing Dexter home due to him being extremely sick and I can’t afford anymore money spent and still don’t know what is wrong or how to treat to get him better. Lesson learned PETLAND has to be stopped. Now after everything after I was forced to surrender my puppy to hopefully get him care he is now with the store manager. I hope I can help at least one family from this nightmare! First photo is with the store manager’s partner posted yesterday other photos are my photos with my dog!

Thank you so much Hillary!!!! We adopted Frankie (Lilo) from Petland-Mason on Saturday 03/22/25. It was the absolute best experience ever!!! Hillary was by far the best sales person I have ever worked with!! She was patient and thorough. She answered any and all questions. They were super busy and she tended to everything we needed! I highly recommend going to this store and asking to work with Hilllaru! You will not be sorry!!!

It's only been 3 days since I got my first puppy from this Petland location but so far, everything is going well. The 2 ladies working when I came in were very knowledgeable and good at answering questions at my level of understanding. I felt like I got great advice and made good selections of both puppy and products to support her. April 2024 I am writing an addition to my review today with a heavy heart. My sweet puppy, that we named Lady, is soon to turn 3 years old and has just been diagnosed with Elbow Dysplasia. Our vet and orthopedic specialist inform me that this is a birth defect that no one could have foreseen unless there is history from the breeder, and that I should inform Lady's breeder. Lady needs to have expensive surgery that might fix the malformed elbow joint but won't stop the arthritis that has already set in her joints. I am just sick with fear for my sweet girl who has been the best dog ever. She is so smart that we were able to have her both Therapy and Service trained and certified before she turned 2 years old. I called the Petland warrantee office, not to place a claim because my paperwork stated that her warrantee is only for 1 year from her purchase price, but to ask how to inform the breeder of her genetic defect. The nice lady informed me that their warrantee policies had changed and Petland will cover Lady for the new 3 years, even though her paperwork says 1 year. She assured me they would make good on their promise to sell healthy dogs. Lady got her surgery and Petland paid for all of it. I am still sad that my sweet girl had to go through this but encouraged that Petland was there to help with her expenses even though they did not have to do it. Lady is strong and healthy now and we look forward to many years with her :)

I recently lost my daughter and there was a big hole in my life. I had no reason to get out of bed. I didn't want to live this life without Holli. My mother and my sisters found Angel Baby. She makes me smile and she gives me a reason...
