The Fish Room of Charlotte

Favorite fish store in the CLT area. We have gotten numerous corals and saltwater fish from here. Everything that we have gotten has been great and we continue to go here weekly. Mike the store owner is VERY knowledgeable and has personally ordered us specific fish that we were in search of. If anything is not to our liking he takes the time to make sure that we are happy!!! Definitely take the time to visit the fish room as you will not regret it.

I met with the owner Mike. On Wednesdays, I work with 3 classes of day care children ages ranging 2 year old to 5. The kids have been learning about fish. I asked if we could bring each class for a walk through and Q&A. He immediately said yes and seemed excited. He literally opened his store an hour early for the kids to walk through. Tgis field trip made their whole week. Mike and Miss Cloee we fantastic. This place had beautiful fish and awesome tanks with all the accessories you may need. Salt water to tropical tanks you will not go wrong here. My daughter and I are heading back to get our family tank soon. Thank you Mike for your hospitality today!

It's always fun to visit this store. The owner, Mike, is very helpful and knowledgeable. I purchased my 10 gallon tank in August 2024; Alex helped at the time. I knew nothing about the process, and she spent a good 1 hour with me explaining everything that made the tank and the fish buying process very easy. They have a good variety of fish too and keep getting new fish every week.

Really neat place. Great selection of fish and all the equipment needed to set up a tank. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. A little expensive but the result at home looks awesome. Cat approved.

It’s a nice place but the employee who was checking me out was really rude. I got there said hello looked right at me and ignored me. Asked him some questions about this plants answered with an attitude, I asked him is I could please get a neocardina shrimp he didn’t even say okay he just looked at me rolled his eyes and went to go get it. He kept rushing me when he went to the counter to check me out, when I left I said bye not even a lift from his phone.!
